⁷ And I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Jehovah. And they will be my people and I will be their God, for they will return to me with their whole heart.

²⁹ But from there you* will seek Jehovah your God. And you will find him when you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. ³⁰ When you are in tribulation and all these things have come upon you, in the latter days you will return to Jehovah your God and listen to his voice. ³¹ For Jehovah your God is a merciful God. He will not fail you, neither destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which he swore to them.

¹⁷ You have avowed Jehovah to be your God this day and that you would walk in his ways and keep his statutes and his commandments and his ordinances and listen to his voice.
¹⁸ And Jehovah has avowed you this day to be a people for his own possession, as he has promised you and that you should keep all his commandments, ¹⁹ and to make you high above all nations that he has made, in praise and in name and in honor and that you may be a holy people to Jehovah your God, as he has spoken.

² and will return to Jehovah your God and will obey his voice according to all that I command you this day, you and your sons, with all your heart and with all your soul, ³ that then Jehovah your God will turn your captivity and have compassion upon you and will return and gather you from all the peoples where Jehovah your God has scattered you.
⁴ If any of your outcasts be in the outermost parts of heaven, from there Jehovah your God will gather you and from there he will fetch you. ⁵ And Jehovah your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed and you will possess it and he will do you good and multiply you above your fathers. ⁶ And Jehovah your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed, to love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

³ And Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, If you* do return to Jehovah with all your* heart, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you* and direct your* hearts to Jehovah and serve him only. And he will deliver you* out of the hand of the Philistines.

⁴⁶ If they sin against you (for there is no man that sins not) and you are angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captive to the land of the enemy, afar off or near, ⁴⁷ yet if they will rethink themselves in the land where they are carried captive and turn again and make supplication to you in the land of those who carried them captive, saying, We have sinned and have done perversely, we have dealt wickedly, ⁴⁸ if they return to you with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies who carried them captive and pray to you toward their land, which you gave to their fathers, the city which you have chosen and the house which I have built for your name, ⁴⁹ then hear you their prayer and their supplication in heaven your dwelling place and maintain their case, ⁵⁰ and forgive your people who have sinned against you and all their transgressions by which they have transgressed against you and give them compassion before those who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them

³⁸ if they return to you with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity where they have carried them captive and pray toward their land, which you gave to their fathers and the city which you have chosen and toward the house which I have built for your name,

¹⁶ And I have put my words in your mouth and have covered you in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens and lay the foundations of the earth and say to Zion, You are my people.

⁶ Seek Jehovah while he may be found. Call you* upon him while he is near. ⁷ Let the wicked man forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts. And let him return to Jehovah and he will have mercy upon him and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

¹⁰ And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not returned to me with her whole heart, but in pretense, says Jehovah.

¹² And you* will call upon me and you* will go and pray to me and I will listen to you*.
¹³ And you* will seek me and find me when you* will search for me with all your* heart. ¹⁴ And I will be found by you*, says Jehovah and I will turn again your* captivity. And I will gather you* from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you*, says Jehovah and I will bring you* again to the place from where I caused you* to be carried away captive.

²² And you* will be my people and I will be your* God.

³³ But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says Jehovah: I will give my laws into their mind and I will write them on their hearts. And I will be their God and they will be my people.
³⁴ And they will teach no more every man his neighbor and every man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah, for they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says Jehovah. For I will forgive their iniquity and I will remember their sin no more.

³⁸ And they will be my people and I will be their God. ³⁹ And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for the good of them and of their sons after them.
⁴⁰ And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good. And I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.

¹⁹ And I will give them one heart and I will put a new spirit within you*. And I will take the stony heart out of their flesh and will give them a heart of flesh, ²⁰ that they may walk in my statutes and keep my ordinances and do them. And they will be my people and I will be their God.

²⁴ For I will take you* from among the nations and gather you* out of all the countries and will bring you* into your* own land. ²⁵ And I will sprinkle clean water upon you* and you* will be clean. I will cleanse you* from all your* filthiness and from all your* idols.
²⁶ I will also give you* a new heart and I will put a new spirit within you*. And I will take away the stony heart out of your* flesh and I will give you* a heart of flesh. ²⁷ And I will put my Spirit within you* and cause you* to walk in my statutes and you* will keep my ordinances and do them.
²⁸ And you* will dwell in the land that I gave to your* fathers and you* will be my people and I will be your* God.

²³ Neither will they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions, but I will save them out of all their dwelling-places in which they have sinned and will cleanse them. So they will be my people and I will be their God.

²⁷ My tabernacle will also be with them and I will be their God and they will be my people.

¹ O Israel, return to Jehovah your God, for you have fallen by your iniquity. ² Take with you* words and return to Jehovah. Say to him, Take away all iniquity and accept what is good. So we will render as bullocks the offering of our lips. ³ Assyria will not save us. We will not ride upon horses, nor will we say any more to the work of our hands, Our gods. For in you the fatherless finds mercy.

⁸ And I will bring them and they will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. And they will be my people and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

⁹ And I will bring the third part into the fire and will refine them as silver is refined and will try them as gold is tried. They will call on my name and I will hear them. I will say, It is my people and they will say, Jehovah is my God.

¹⁷ But gratitude to God, that, though you were bondservants of sin, you obeyed from the heart the pattern of teaching to which you were given;

¹⁰ Because this one is the covenant which I will covenant with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will be giving my laws into their mind and I will be writing them upon their hearts. And I will be a God to them and they will be covenanted into a people for me;

¹⁶ But now they are aspiring for themselves to a better region, this thing is a heavenly one. Hence God is not ashamed of them, to be called their God; for he has prepared a city for them.
