Isaiah 28:1-4

Isaiah 37:3

Hosea 11:5-6

5 They will not return into the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian will be their king, because they refused to return to me. 6 And the sword will fall upon their cities and will consume their bars and devour them, because of their own counsels.

Hosea 13:1-3

1 When Ephraim spoke, there was trembling. He exalted himself in Israel, but when he offended in Baal, he died.
2 And now they sin more and more and have made themselves molten images of their silver, even idols according to their own understanding, all of them the work of the craftsmen. They say of them, Let the men who sacrifice kiss the calves.
3 Therefore they will be as the morning cloud and as the dew that passes away early, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the threshing-floor and as the smoke out of the chimney.

Hosea 13:15-16

15 Though he is fruitful among his brothers, an east wind will come, the breath of Jehovah coming up from the wilderness and his spring will become dry and his fountain will be dried up. He will make spoil of the treasure of all desirable vessels. 16 Samaria will bear her guilt, for she has rebelled against her God. They will fall by the sword. Their infants will be dashed in pieces and their women with child will be ripped up.

7 Surely the lord Jehovah will do nothing unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.

Amos 3:14-15

14 For in the day that I will visit the transgressions of Israel upon him, I will also visit the altars of Bethel and the horns of the altar will be cut off and fall to the ground. 15 And I will kill* the winter house with the summer house and the houses of ivory will perish and the great houses will have an end, says Jehovah.

17 Therefore Jehovah says thus: Your wife will be a prostitute in the city and your sons and your daughters will fall by the sword and your land will be divided by line and you yourself will die in a land that is unclean. And Israel will surely be led away captive out of his land.
