⁸ And I will give to you and to your seed after you, the land of your travels, all the land of Canaan for an everlasting possession and I will be their God.

⁷ And Jehovah appeared to Abram and said, I will give this land to your seed. And there he built an altar to Jehovah, who appeared to him.

¹⁵ For all the land which you see, to you I will give it and to your seed everlasting.

¹⁷ Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it, because I will give it to you.

⁷ And he said to him, I am Jehovah who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it. ⁸ And he said, O Lord Jehovah, how will I know that I will inherit it? ⁹ And he said to him, Take a heifer three years old for me and a female-goat three years old and a ram three years old and a turtle dove and a young pigeon.
¹⁰ And he took all these for him and divided them in the midst and laid each half opposite the other. But he did not divide the birds. ¹¹ And the birds of prey came down upon the carcasses and Abram drove them away. ¹² And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram. And behold, a horror of great darkness fell upon him.
¹³ And God said to Abram, Know of a certainty that your seed will be travelers in a land that is not theirs. And your seed will serve them and they will afflict them for four hundred years. ¹⁴ And I will also judge that nation, whom they will serve and afterward they will come out with great substance. ¹⁵ But you will go to your fathers in peace; you will be buried at a good old age. ¹⁶ And they will come here again in the fourth generation, because the iniquity of the Amorite is not yet full. ¹⁷ And it happened, that, when the sun went down and it was dark, behold, there appeared a smoking furnace and a flaming torch that passed between these pieces.
¹⁸ In that day Jehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying, To your seed I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates: ¹⁹ the Kenite and the Kenizzite and the Kadmonite ²⁰ and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Rephaim ²¹ and the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Girgashite and the Jebusite.

⁴ I am a stranger and a traveler with you*. Give me a burial possession with you*, that I may bury my dead out of my sight.

⁴ and give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your seed with you, that you may inherit the land of your travels, which God gave to Abraham.

⁴ and said to me, Behold, I will make you fruitful and multiply you and I will make of you a company of peoples and will give this land to your seed after you for an everlasting possession.

⁷ And I will take you* to me for a people and I will be to you* a God and you* will know that I am Jehovah your* God, who brings you* out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

⁶ then his master will bring him to God and will bring him to the door, or to the door-post and his master will bore his ear through with an awl and he will serve him everlasting.

¹⁶ Therefore the sons of Israel will keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their genealogy, for a everlasting covenant. ¹⁷ It is a sign between me and the sons of Israel everlasting. For in six days Jehovah made heaven and earth and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.

¹⁵ and you will anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest's office. And their anointing will be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their genealogy.

³⁴ And this will be an everlasting statute to you*, to make atonement for the sons of Israel because of all their sins once in the year. And he did as Jehovah commanded Moses.

¹² And I will walk among you* and will be your* God and you* will be my people.

¹³ And it will be to him and to his seed after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was jealous for his God and made atonement for the sons of Israel.

³⁷ And because he loved your fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them and brought you out with his presence, with his great power, out of Egypt,

² For you are a holy people to Jehovah your God and Jehovah has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples that are upon the face of the earth.

¹⁸ And Jehovah has avowed you this day to be a people for his own possession, as he has promised you and that you should keep all his commandments,

¹³ that he may establish you this day to himself for a people and that he may be to you a God, as he spoke to you and as he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob.

⁸ When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of men, he set the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel.

⁵ Truly my house is not so with God. Yet he has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things and sure. For it is all my salvation and all my desire, though he does not make it to grow.

¹⁷ But the loving kindness of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear him and his righteousness to son's sons,

⁹ which he made with Abraham and his oath to Isaac,

¹¹ saying, To you I will give the land of Canaan, the lot of your* inheritance,

¹⁵ And because of this, he is the intermediary of a new covenant, that his death having happened for the redemption of the transgressions that were against the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the everlasting inheritance.
