² Son of man, write the name of the day, even of this same day; the king of Babylon drew close to Jerusalem this same day.

¹ And Jehovah said to me, You take a great tablet and write upon it with the pen of a man, To Make Haste to Plunder! Hurry to the Spoil!

⁸ Now go, write it before them on a tablet and inscribe it on a scroll, that it may be for the time to come until everlasting. ⁹ For it is a rebellious people, lying sons, sons who will not hear the law of Jehovah,

² And Jehovah answered me and said, Write the vision and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run who reads it. ³ For the vision is yet for the appointed time and it breathes-out toward the end and will not lie. Though it abide, wait for it, because it will surely come. It will not delay.
