² Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem and drop your word toward the sanctuaries and prophesy against the land of Israel.

² My doctrine will drop as the rain. My speech will flow as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender grass and as the showers upon the herb.

¹¹ Then the priests and the prophets spoke to the rulers and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy of death, for he has prophesied against this city, as you* have heard with your* ears.
¹² Then Jeremiah spoke to all the rulers and to all the people, saying, Jehovah sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that you* have heard.

³ And take to you an iron pan and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city. And set your face toward it and it will be besieged and you will lay siege against it. This will be a sign to the house of Israel.

⁷ And you will set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, with your arm uncovered and you will prophesy against it.

² Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel and prophesy to them,

⁴⁶ Son of man, set your face toward the south and drop your word toward the south and prophesy against the forest of the field in the South.

² Son of man, set your face toward the sons of Ammon and prophesy against them.

² Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh King of Egypt and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.

¹ And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say, You* mountains of Israel, hear the word of Jehovah.

² Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the ruler of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal and prophesy against him.

¹⁶ Now therefore hear the word of Jehovah: You say, Do not prophesy against Israel and do not drop your word against the house of Isaac.

⁶ Prophesy you* not, they prophesy. They will not prophesy to these, so reproaches will not depart.

¹¹ If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies, saying, I will prophesy to you of wine and of strong drink, he will even be the prophet of this people.

¹³ And false witnesses stood up, who said, This man is not ceasing to speak blasphemous declarations against this holy place and the law; ¹⁴ for we have heard him saying, that this Jesus the Nazarene will be tearing-down this place and will be changing the customs which Moses gave to us.

¹⁹ And pray on my behalf, in order that the word may be given to me, in opening my mouth to make known the mystery of the good-news in boldness,
