¹⁶ When they have a matter, they come to me and I judge between a man and his neighbor. And I make them know the statutes of God and his laws.

¹³ And he went out the second day, and behold, two men of the Hebrews were striving together. And he said to him who did the wrong, Why do you kill* your neighbor?

⁷ Keep far from a false matter. And do not kill an innocent and righteous man, because I will not justify a wicked man.

¹⁴ And he said to the elders, Abide here for us, until we come again to you*. And behold, Aaron and Hur are with you*; whoever has a case, let him come near to them.
¹⁵ And you will speak to the sons of Israel, saying, Whoever curses his God will bear his sin.

³⁵ And Jehovah said to Moses, The man will surely be put to death. All the congregation will stone him with stones outside the camp.

⁶ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ⁷ The daughters of Zelophehad speak right. You will surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brothers and you will cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them.
⁸ And you will speak to the sons of Israel, saying, If a man dies and has no son, then you* will cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter. ⁹ And if he has no daughter, then you* will give his inheritance to his brothers. ¹⁰ And if he has no brothers, then you* will give his inheritance to his father's brothers. ¹¹ And if his father has no brothers, then you* will give his inheritance to his kinsman who is next to him of his family and he will possess it. And it will be to the sons of Israel a statute and ordinance, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

⁶ This is the thing which Jehovah commands concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them be married to whom they think best, only they will be married into the family of the tribe of their father. ⁷ So no inheritance of the sons of Israel will remove from tribe to tribe, for the sons of Israel will cling each one to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers. ⁸ And every daughter, who possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the sons of Israel, will be wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the sons of Israel may possess every man the inheritance of his fathers. ⁹ So no inheritance will move from one tribe to another tribe, for the tribes of the sons of Israel will cling each one to his own inheritance.

⁵ Behold, I have taught you* statutes and ordinances, even as Jehovah my God commanded me, that you* should do so in the midst of the land where you* go in to possess it.

¹ And Moses called to all Israel and said to them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and the ordinances which I speak in your* ears this day, that you* may learn them and observe to do them.

¹ Now this is the commandment, the statutes and the ordinances, which Jehovah your* God commanded to teach you*, that you* might do them in the land where you* go over to possess it,

⁸ If there arise a matter too hard for you in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within your gates, then you will arise and get you up to the place which Jehovah your God will choose. ⁹ And you will come to the priests the Levites and to the judge who will be in those days and you will inquire. And they will show you the sentence of judgment.
¹⁰ And you will do according to the tenor of the sentence which they will show you from that place which Jehovah will choose. And you will observe to do according to all that they will teach you, ¹¹ according to the tenor of the law which they will teach you and according to the judgment which they will tell you, you will do. You will not turn aside from the sentence, which they will show you, to the right hand, nor to the left.
¹² And the man who does presumptuously, in not listening to the priest who stands to minister there before Jehovah your God, or to the judge, even that man will die and you will put away the evil from Israel.

²³ Moreover as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against Jehovah in ceasing to pray for you*. But I will instruct you* in the good and the right way.

³ And Absalom said to him, See, your matters are good and right, but there is no man appointed by the king to hear you.

¹³ If I have despised the case of my man-servant or of my maid-servant when they contended with me,

²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, as many things as I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the earth.
Amen.

¹⁴ But when Paul was about to open his mouth, Gallio said to the Jews, Therefore if it was indeed some wrongdoing or evil villainy, O you Jews, I might tolerate you according to reason. ¹⁵ But if there are debates concerning words and names and law which is according to you, you will see to it yourselves; for I am not willing to be a judge of these things.

¹ Does anyone of you, having a matter of strife toward the other, dare to have a lawsuit in front of the unrighteous and not in front of the holy-ones?

¹ Therefore furthermore brethren, we request and are encouraging you in the Lord Jesus, just-as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, in order that you might abound even more. ² For you know what commands we gave you through the Lord Jesus.
