Deuteronomy 31:12 Cross References - MLV

¹² Assemble the people, the men and the women and the little ones and your traveler who is within your gates, that they may hear and that they may learn and fear Jehovah your* God and observe to do all the words of this law,

¹⁰ the day that you stood before Jehovah your God in Horeb, when Jehovah said to me, Assemble the people to me and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live upon the earth and that they may teach their sons.

⁶ And these words, which I command you this day, will be upon your heart. ⁷ And you will teach them diligently to your sons and will talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.

²⁹ The secret things belong to Jehovah our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our sons until everlasting, that we may do all the words of this law.

¹ Now while Ezra prayed and made confession, weeping and casting himself down before the house of God, there was gathered together to him out of Israel a very great assembly of men and women and children, for the people wept very much.

⁷ The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring the soul. The testimony of Jehovah is sure, making a simple man wise. ⁸ The precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart. The commandment of Jehovah is pure, enlightening the eyes. ⁹ The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring forever. The ordinances of Jehovah are true and righteous altogether. ¹⁰ They are more to be desired than gold, yes, than much fine gold. Sweeter also than honey and the droppings of the honeycomb. ¹¹ Moreover by them your servant is warned. There is great reward in keeping them.

¹¹ Come, you* children, listen to me. I will teach you* the fear of Jehovah. ¹² What man is he who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good? ¹³ Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. ¹⁴ Depart from evil and do good. Seek peace and pursue it.

³⁹ You are searching the Scriptures because you think that in them you have everlasting life, and these are those which are testifying concerning me;

¹⁵ And you have known, that from a baby, the sacred Scriptures which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
¹⁶ All Scripture is God breathed and is profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for education which is in righteousness, ¹⁷ in order that the man of God may be equipped, having been utterly equipped for every good work.
