¹ You will not sacrifice to Jehovah your God an ox, or a sheep, in which is a blemish or anything bad, for that is an abomination to Jehovah your God.

³ And behold, seven other cows came up after them out of the river, ill-favored and lean-fleshed and stood by the other cows upon the brink of the river. ⁴ And the ill-favored and lean-fleshed cows ate up the seven fine-looking and fat cows. So Pharaoh awoke.

¹⁹ And behold, seven other cows came up after them, poorly and very ill-formed and lean-fleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness.

⁵ Your* lamb will be without blemish, a male a year old. You* will take it from the sheep, or from the goats.

²⁰ But whatever has a blemish, that you* will not offer, for it will not be acceptable for you*. ²¹ And whoever offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to Jehovah to accomplish a vow, or for a free-will offering, of the herd or of the flock, it will be perfect to be accepted; there will be no blemish in it. ²² Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a skin tumor, or scurvy, or scabbed, you* will not offer these to Jehovah, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar to Jehovah. ²³ Either a bullock or a lamb that has anything superfluous or lacking in his parts, that you may offer for a free-will offering, but it will not be accepted for a vow. ²⁴ What has its testicles bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut, you* will not offer to Jehovah, neither will you* do thus in your* land. ²⁵ Neither from the hand of a foreigner will you* offer the bread of your* God of any of these, because their corruption is in them; there is a blemish in them. They will not be accepted for you*.

²¹ And if it has any blemish, as lame or blind, any ill blemish whatever, you will not sacrifice it to Jehovah your God.

¹⁸ You will not bring the hire of a prostitute, or the wages of a dog, into the house of Jehovah your God for any vow, for even both these are an abomination to Jehovah your God.

⁴ her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife after she is defiled. For that is abomination before Jehovah and you will not cause the land to sin, which Jehovah your God gives you for an inheritance.

¹⁶ For all who do such things, even all who do unrighteously, are an abomination to Jehovah your God.

¹⁶ There are six things which Jehovah hates, yes, seven which are an abomination to him:

¹ A false balance is an abomination to Jehovah, but a just weight is his delight.

⁸ The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to Jehovah, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

¹⁰ Diverse weights and diverse measures, both of them alike are an abomination to Jehovah.

⁸ And when you* offer the blind for sacrifice, you* say, It is no evil! and when you* offer the lame and sick, It is no evil! Present it now to your governor. Will he be pleased with you, or will he accept your person? says Jehovah of hosts.

¹³ You* also say, Behold, what a weariness it is! And you* have sniffed at it, says Jehovah of hosts. And you* have brought what was taken by violence and the lame and the sick. Thus you* bring the offering.
Should I accept this at your* hand? says Jehovah. ¹⁴ But cursed be the deceiver, who has in his flock a male and vows and sacrifices to the Lord a blemished thing. For I am a great King, says Jehovah of hosts and my name is feared among the Gentiles.

¹⁴ how much more the blood of Christ, (who through the everlasting Spirit offered himself unblemished to God), will be cleansing your conscience from dead works, that you may give-divine service to the living God.

¹⁹ But like that of an unblemished and unstained lamb, you were redeemed by the precious blood of Christ,
