¹⁴ then you will inquire and make search and ask diligently. And behold, if it is true and the thing certain, that such abomination is worked in the midst of you,

³⁰ Whoever kills any person, the murderer will be slain at the mouth of witnesses, but one witness will not testify against any person so that he dies.

¹⁸ He executes justice for the fatherless and widow and loves the traveler in giving him food and garments.

⁴ and it is told you and you have heard of it, then will you inquire diligently. And behold, if it is true and the thing certain, that such abomination is worked in Israel,

³ And his delight will be in the fear of Jehovah. And he will not judge according to the sight of his eyes, nor decide according to the hearing of his ears, ⁴ but with righteousness he will judge the poor and decide with equity for the meek of the earth.
And he will kill* the earth with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.

²⁴ Do not judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

¹⁹ Do not accept an accusation against an elder, unless upon the testimony of two or three witnesses.
