⁹ And at that instant I will speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it, ¹⁰ if they do what is evil in my sight, that they obey not my voice, then I will relent of the good with which I said I would benefit them.

¹³ And tear your* heart and not your* garments and turn to Jehovah your* God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness and relents of the evil. ¹⁴ Who knows whether he will not turn and relent and leave a blessing behind him, even a meal offering and a drink offering to Jehovah your* God?
