³ but if anyone loves God, this one has been known by him.

¹² And Moses said to Jehovah, See, say to me, Bring up this people and you have not let me know whom you will send with me. Yet you have said, I know you by name and you have also found favor in my sight.

¹⁷ And Jehovah said to Moses, I will do this thing also that you have spoken, because you have found favor in my sight and I know you by name.

⁶ Because Jehovah knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

³ You have proved my heart. You have visited me in the night. You have tried me and find nothing. I have purposed that my mouth will not transgress.

¹ O Jehovah, you have searched and known me. ² You know my sitting down and my rising up. You understand my thought afar off.

⁵ Before I formed you in the belly I knew you and before you came forth out of the womb I made you holy. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.

⁷ Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble and he knows those who take refuge in him.

²³ And then I will confess to them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you who are working lawlessness.

¹⁴ I am the good shepherd, and I know my own and I am known by my own,

¹⁷ He says to him the third-time, Simon, Son of Jonah, Do you ^{F} love me?

²⁸ Now we know that all things work together toward good, to those who love God, to those who are an invited one according to his purpose. ²⁹ Because, whom he knew beforehand, he also predetermined, one transformed to the image of his Son, that he himself might be the firstborn among many brethren;

² God did not thrust away his people which he knew beforehand. Or do you not know what the Scripture says by Elijah? How he petitions God against Israel, saying,

⁹ but as it has been written, ‘Things which the eye did not see and the ear did not hear and things which did not come up in the heart of man, which God prepared for those who love him.’

⁹ But now having known God, but rather having been known by God, how are you turning back again to the weak and poor fundamental principles? Do you again wish to be enslaved to these anew?

¹⁹ Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal, ‘The Lord knows those who are his,’

¹² The fortunate man who is enduring temptation, because having become approved, he will be receiving the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him.

⁵ Listen, my beloved brethren. Did God not choose the poor of the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which he promised to those who love him?

⁸ You love whom you have not seen; now you believe in whom you do not see; in both you are glad with unspeakable and glorified joy;

¹⁹ We love him, because he loved us first.

² We know in this that we love the children of God, whenever we love God and whenever we are keeping his commandments. ³ For this is the love of God, in order that we should keep his commandments and his commandments are not burdensome.

⁹ I know your works, your affliction and your poverty (but you are rich) and the blasphemy of those who saying about themselves they are Jews and they are not, but are a synagogue of the Adversary.

¹³ I know your works and where you dwell–where the Adversary’s throne is, and you are holding-fast my name and did not deny my faith in the days, in which my witness, the faithful Antipas was killed beside you, where the Adversary is dwelling.

¹⁹ I know your works and love and faith and service and endurance and that your last works are more-than the first ones.

⁸ I know your works (behold, I have given you an opened door which is in your sight, which no one is able to lock it), that you have little power and kept my word and did not deny my name. ⁹ Behold, I give those from the synagogue of the Adversary, those who say they are themselves Jews and they are not, but are lying, behold, I will make them in order that they should come and should worship in the sight of your feet and should know that I have loved you.

¹⁵ I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish-that you might be cold or hot. ¹⁶ So because you are lukewarm and not hot nor cold, I am about to puke you out of my mouth.
