1 Corinthians 15:13-19

13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, not even Christ has been raised up; 14 and if Christ has not been raised up, consequently, our preaching is empty, your faith is also empty. 15 Now, we are also found to be false witnesses of God, because we testified against God in saying that he raised the Christ up; whom consequently, he did not raise up, if indeed the dead are not raised up. 16 For if the dead are not raised up, not even Christ has been raised up; 17 and if Christ has not been raised up, your faith is futile. You are still in your sins. 18 Consequently, also those who have fallen-asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are the most pitiful of all men.

2 Thessalonians 2:17

17 may comfort your hearts and may establish them in all the word and in good work.
18 They have deviated concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection has happened already and are perverting the faith of some.
