²¹ These things you have done, and I have kept silence; you thought that I was like yourself, but I will rebuke you, and set in order before your eyes.

¹⁴ And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM. And He said, So you shall say to the sons of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.

¹⁹ God is not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

³ Our God comes, and He is not silent; a fire shall devour before Him, and it shall be very stormy all around Him.

⁸ I will not reprove you for your sacrifices; yea, your burnt offerings are continually before Me.

¹¹ And they say, How does God know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?

⁸ You have set our iniquities before You, our secret sins in the light of Your face.

⁷ Yet they say, Jehovah shall not see, nor shall the God of Jacob observe it. ⁸ Understand, you beastly ones among the people; and fools, when will you be wise? ⁹ He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see? ¹⁰ He who chastens the nations, shall He not correct, He who teaches man knowledge? ¹¹ Jehovah knows the thoughts of man, that they are vain.

¹ To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. O God of my praise, do not be silent; ² for the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me; they spoke against me with a lying tongue. ³ And they surrounded me with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.

¹ A man who hardens his neck when reproved shall be suddenly broken, and there will be no healing.

¹¹ Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. ¹² Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days be made longer, yet surely I know that it shall be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him.

¹⁴ For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it is good, or whether evil.

¹⁰ Let favor be shown to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness; in the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of Jehovah.

¹⁵ Behold, the nations are like a drop in a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the scales; behold, He takes up the coastlands as a very little thing. ¹⁶ And Lebanon is not enough to burn, nor the beasts of it enough for a burnt offering. ¹⁷ All nations before Him are as nothing; and to Him they are thought to be less than nothing, and vanity. ¹⁸ To whom then will you compare God? Or what likeness will you compare to Him?

¹⁴ I have kept silence from forever; I have been still and refrained Myself. Now I will cry like a woman in pangs of labor, I will pant and gasp at once.

¹¹ And of whom have you been afraid or feared, that you have lied and have not remembered Me, nor laid it to your heart? Have I not been silent, even from forever, and you did not fear Me?

⁷ Jehovah has sworn by the Glory of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.

⁴ Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and the forbearance and long-suffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? ⁵ But according to your hardness and your impenitent heart, do you treasure up wrath for yourself in a day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,

⁵ Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts. And then shall each one have praise of God.

⁹ The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not purposing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

¹⁹ As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten; therefore be zealous and repent.
