¹⁷ Let me not be ashamed, O Jehovah; for I have called on You; Let the wicked be ashamed; let them be silent in the grave.

⁹ He keeps the feet of his saints, and the wicked are silenced in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

¹⁰ Let all my enemies be ashamed and exceedingly troubled; let them turn back and be ashamed in a moment.

⁵ They looked to Him, and were filled with light; and their faces were not ashamed.

⁴ Let them be humbled and put to shame, those who seek after my soul; let them be turned back and be brought to blushing, those who plot evil to me.

²⁶ Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor together, those who magnify themselves over me.

¹⁴ Let them be ashamed and humbled together, those who seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame, those who wish me evil. ¹⁵ Let them be desolate as a reward for their shame, those who say to me, Aha, aha!

⁶ Do not let those who wait on You, O Jehovah, the God of Hosts, be ashamed for my sake; let not the ones who seek You be ashamed for my sake, O God of Israel, ⁷ because I have borne reproach for Your sake, shame has covered my face.

² Let them be ashamed and turned pale, those who seek after my soul; let them be turned backward and blush, those who desire my hurt. ³ Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame, those who say, Aha, aha!

²⁴ My tongue also shall muse on Your righteousness all the day long; for those who seek my evil have turned pale, they are brought to shame.

¹⁶ Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O Jehovah. ¹⁷ Let them be ashamed and troubled forever; yea, let them be put to shame, and lost;

¹⁷ Unless Jehovah had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

¹⁷ The dead do not praise Jehovah, nor do any who go down into silence.

¹¹ Behold, all those who were angered against you shall be ashamed and confounded; they shall be as nothing. And those who fight with you shall perish. ¹² You shall seek them, and shall not find them; men warring against you shall be as nothing, and as ceasing.

¹⁶ They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them; they who are makers of idols shall go into disgrace together. ¹⁷ But Israel shall be saved in Jehovah with an everlasting salvation. You shall not be ashamed nor blush to the forevers of eternity.

⁶ I gave My back to the strikers, and My cheeks to pluckers; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting. ⁷ For the Lord Jehovah will help Me; therefore I have not been ashamed. On account of this I have set My face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

¹³ So the Lord Jehovah says, Behold, My servants will eat, but you will be hungry. Behold, My servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Behold, My servants will rejoice, but you will be ashamed. ¹⁴ Behold, My servants will sing for joy of heart, but you will cry for sorrow of heart, and will howl because of a breaking of spirit.

¹¹ But Jehovah is with me like a mighty, awesome one. Therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not overcome me. They shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not be blessed. Their everlasting shame shall never be forgotten.

² And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

²⁶ And you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of Jehovah your God, who has dealt with you wonderfully; and My people shall never be ashamed. ²⁷ And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Jehovah your God, and no one else; and My people shall never be ashamed.

¹² And he said to him, Friend, how did you come in here without having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. ¹³ Then the king said to the servants, Bind him hand and foot and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
