³⁰ to bring back his soul from the Pit, to be lighted with the light of the living.

⁸ Lead me, O Jehovah, in Your righteousness, because of my enemies; make Your way straight before my face.

⁷ The Law of Jehovah is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of Jehovah is sure, making the simple wise.

³ For You are my rock and my fortress; and for Your name's sake lead me and guide me.

³ O magnify Jehovah with me, and let us exalt His name together.

¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

¹² Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

⁹ Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name; and deliver us, and atone for our sins, for Your name's sake.

⁴ Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause Your anger toward us to cease. ⁵ Will You be angry with us forever? Will You draw out Your anger to all generations? ⁶ Will You not give us life again, so that Your people may rejoice in You? ⁷ Show us Your mercy, O Jehovah, and grant us Your salvation.

¹³ Righteousness shall go before Him and shall set us in the way of His steps.

¹⁷⁶ I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek Your servant; for I do not forget Your Commandments.

⁸ Cause me to hear Your loving-kindness in the morning, for I do trust in You; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. ⁹ Deliver me, O Jehovah, from my enemies; I flee to You to hide me. ¹⁰ Teach me to do Your will; for You are my God; Your Spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

¹¹ I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in the right paths.

²⁰ I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment;

¹⁶ And I will bring the blind by a way they knew not; I will lead them in paths they have not known; I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. I will do these things to them, and not forsake them.

⁸ Behold, I will bring them from the north country and gather them from the corners of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and she who is in labor with child, together; a great company shall return there.

³⁷ Behold, I will gather them out of all the lands where I have driven them in My anger, and in My fury, and in great wrath. And I will bring them again to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely. ³⁸ And they shall be My people, and I will be their God. ³⁹ And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for their good and for the good of their sons after them. ⁴⁰ And I will cut an everlasting covenant with them that I will not turn away from them, to do them good. But I will put My fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from Me. ⁴¹ Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will truly plant them in this land with all My heart and all My whole soul. ⁴² For so says Jehovah: As I have brought all this great evil on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them.

¹⁴ But I worked for My name's sake, so that it should not be profaned before the nations in whose sight I brought them out.

⁴ I will heal their backslidings; I will love them freely; for My anger has turned away from him. ⁵ I will be as the dew to Israel; he shall grow as the lily and cast out his roots like Lebanon. ⁶ His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. ⁷ They who dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive like the grain, and grow like the vine. Their scent shall be as the wine of Lebanon. ⁸ Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him and watched him; I am like a green fir tree. Your fruit is found from Me. ⁹ Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? Understanding, and he shall know them? For the ways of Jehovah are right, and the just shall walk in them; but sinners shall fall in them.

⁸ Rejoice not against me, my enemy; for if I fall, I shall arise; for if I sit in darkness, Jehovah shall be a light to me. ⁹ I will bear the fury of Jehovah, because I have sinned against Him, until He pleads my cause and brings out judgment for me. He will bring me out to the light, and I shall behold His righteousness.

¹⁸ Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not keep His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. ¹⁹ He will turn again; He will have pity on us. He will trample our iniquities. Yea, You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

³¹ And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired you, that he may sift you as wheat. ³² But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not. And when you are converted, strengthen your brothers.

⁶ to the praise of the glory of His grace, in which He has made us accepted in the One having been loved.

¹⁹ As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten; therefore be zealous and repent.
