³⁷ and that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all kinds of trees, of wine and of oil, to the priests, to the rooms of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground to the Levites, and they, the Levites, might have the tithes in all the cities we farmed.

¹⁷ You shall bring out of your homes two wave loaves of two-tenth parts. They shall be of fine flour. They shall be baked with leaven, firstfruits to Jehovah.

³⁰ And all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is Jehovah's. It is holy to Jehovah. ³¹ And if a man will at all redeem anything of his tithes, he shall add to it the fifth part of it. ³² And all the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, all that passes under the rod, a tenth shall be holy to Jehovah ³³ He shall not search whether it is good or bad, neither shall he change it. And if he changes it at all, then both it and the change of it shall be holy. It shall not be redeemed.

¹⁹ then it shall be that when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall offer up a heave offering to Jehovah. ²⁰ You shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough, a heave offering, as the heave offering of the threshing-floor, so you shall lift it up. ²¹ Of the first of your dough you shall give to Jehovah a heave offering in your generations.

¹² All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the first-fruits of them which they shall offer to Jehovah, I have given them to you. ¹³ The first fruits of all that is in the land, which they shall bring to Jehovah, shall be yours. Everyone that is clean in your house shall eat of it.

²¹ And behold, I have given the sons of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.

²⁴ But the tithes of the sons of Israel, which they offer as a heave offering to Jehovah, I have given to the Levites to inherit. Therefore I have said to them, Among the sons of Israel they shall have no inheritance. ²⁵ And Jehovah spoke to Moses saying, ²⁶ And you shall speak to the Levites, and you shall say to them, When you take tithes from the sons of Israel, which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then you shall offer up a heave offering of it for Jehovah, a tenth of the tithe. ²⁷ And your heave offering shall be credited to you as grain of the threshing-floor, and as the fullness of the winepress. ²⁸ So you also shall offer a heave offering to Jehovah of all your tithes which you receive from the sons of Israel. And you shall give from it Jehovah's heave offering to Aaron the priest. ²⁹ Out of all your gifts you shall offer every heave offering of Jehovah, of all its fat, the holy part of it out of it. ³⁰ And you shall say to them, When you have lifted up its fat, then it shall be credited to the Levites as the increase of the threshing-floor, and as the increase of the winepress. ³¹ And you shall eat it in every place, you and your households. For it is your reward for your service in the tabernacle of the congregation. ³² And you shall bear no sin because of it, when you have lifted up the fat of it. Neither shall you defile the holy things of the sons of Israel, lest you die.

⁴ You shall give him the first-fruit of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep.

² you shall take of the first of all the fruit of the earth which you shall bring of your land that Jehovah your God gives you, and you shall put it in a basket, and shall go to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to place His name there.

⁵ And against the wall of the house he built floors all around, against the walls of the house all around, of the temple and of the sanctuary. And he made rooms all around. ⁶ The lowest story was five cubits broad, and the middle was six cubits broad, and the third was seven cubits broad. For around the outside of the house he made narrowed ledges for the house all around, so as not to lay hold of the walls of the house. ⁷ And when it was being built, the house was built of stone made ready beforehand. And there was not heard in the house a hammer or an axe, or any iron tool, while it was being built. ⁸ The door for the middle story was in the right side of the house. And they went up with winding stairs into the middle story, and out of the middle into the third. ⁹ And he built the house and finished it. And he covered the house with beams and rows of cedar. ¹⁰ And he built the side-stories on all the house, five cubits high. And they rested on the house with timbers of cedar.

⁶ And the sons of Israel and Judah who lived in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated to Jehovah their God, and laid it up by heaps.

¹¹ And Hezekiah commanded storehouses to be prepared in the house of Jehovah. And they prepared, ¹² and brought in the offerings and the tithes and the things dedicated to God faithfully. And over them was Cononiah the Levite ruler, and Shimei his brother the next.

⁵ and he had prepared for himself a large room where they had in days of old laid the food offering, the frankincense, and the vessels, and the tithes of the grain, the new wine, and the oil, which was commanded to be given to the Levites, and the singers, and the gatekeepers, and the offerings of the priests.

⁹ Then I commanded, and they purified the rooms. And I brought there again the vessels of the house of God, with the food offering and the frankincense.

⁸ Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me. But you say, In what have we robbed You? In the tithe and the offering!

¹⁰ Bring all the tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house. And test Me now with this, says Jehovah of Hosts, to see if I will not open the windows of Heaven for you, and pour out a blessing for you, until there is not enough room.
