⁶ And the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came to me, and His face was like the face of an Angel of God, very terrifying. But I did not ask Him where He came from, neither did He tell me His name.

¹⁶ And Jacob awakened from his sleep. And he said, Surely Jehovah is in this place, and I did not know. ¹⁷ And he was afraid, and said, How fearful is this place! This is nothing but the house of God, and this is the gate of Heaven!

²⁹ And Jacob asked and said, I pray You, reveal Your name. And He said, Why do you ask after My name? And He blessed him there.

⁶ And He said, I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God.

⁸ And Manoah prayed to Jehovah and said, O, my Lord, let the Man of God, whom You sent, come again to us and teach us what we shall do to the boy that shall be born.

¹⁷ And Manoah said to the Angel of Jehovah, What is Your name, so that when Your sayings come to pass we may do You honor? ¹⁸ And the Angel of Jehovah said to him, Why do you ask after My name in this way? Yea, it is Wonderful.

²² And Manoah said to his wife, We shall surely die because we have seen God.

²⁷ And there came a man of God to Eli, and said to him, So says Jehovah: Did I plainly appear to the house of your father when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house?

⁶ And he said to him, Behold now, in this city is a man of God, and an honorable man. All that he says surely comes to pass. Now let us go there. Perhaps he can declare our way to us, how to go.

¹⁸ And she said to Elijah, What do I have to do with you, O man of God? Have you come to me to call my sin to remembrance and to kill my son?

¹⁷ So he came near beside my place. And when he came, I was afraid and fell on my face. But he said to me, Understand, O son of man, for the vision is for the time of the end.

⁵ then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, a certain man was clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz.

¹¹ And he said to me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright. For to you I am now sent. And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling.

³ His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. ⁴ And the keepers shook for fear of him and became like dead men.

¹⁹ And answering, the angel said to him, I am Gabriel, who stands before God. And I am sent to speak to you and to show you these glad tidings.

²⁹ And as He prayed, the appearance of His countenance was altered, and His clothing was dazzling white.

¹⁵ And looking intently at him. all those sitting in the sanhedrin saw his face as if it were the face of an angel.

¹¹ But you, O man of God, flee these things and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.
