³ Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

⁴ Yet Jehovah has not given you a heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, until today.

²¹ Now hear this, O foolish people and without heart; who have eyes and see not; who have ears and hear not;

¹⁸ For truly I say to you, Till the heaven and the earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in any way pass from the Law until all is fulfilled.

¹¹ He answered and said to them, Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them. ¹² For whoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance. But whoever does not have, from him shall be taken away even that which he has. ¹³ Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not; nor do they understand. ¹⁴ And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah which said, "By hearing you shall hear and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see and shall not perceive; ¹⁵ for this people's heart has become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes, lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them." ¹⁶ But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.

¹⁷ Jesus answered and said to him, You are blessed, Simon, son of Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but My Father in Heaven.

⁵ And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it.

¹³ who were born, not of bloods, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but were born of God.

⁵¹ And He said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Hereafter you shall see Heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.

⁵ Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. ⁶ That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

⁴⁰ "He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, so that they should not see with their eyes nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them."

¹⁹ For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us; by me and Silas and Timothy; was not yes and no, but in Him was, yes! ²⁰ For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God by us.

⁴ in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving ones, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ (who is the image of God) should not dawn on them.

¹⁷ So that if any one is in Christ, that one is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

¹⁵ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision has any strength, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

¹ And He has made you alive, who were once dead in trespasses and sins,

⁵ not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,

¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness nor shadow of turning. ¹⁸ Of His own will He brought us forth with the Word of truth, for us to be a certain firstfruit of His creatures.

¹⁷ But the wisdom that is from above is first truly pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has regenerated us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

²³ having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the living Word of God, and abiding forever. ²⁴ For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of men as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls out, ²⁵ but the Word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the Word preached as gospel to you.

²⁹ If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who does righteousness has been born of Him.

⁹ Everyone who has been born of God does not commit sin, because His seed remains in him, and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

¹ Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. And everyone who loves Him who begets also loves him who has been born of Him.

¹⁸ We know that everyone who has been born of God does not continue to sin, but the one born of God guards himself, and the evil one does not touch him.

¹⁴ And to the angel of the church of the Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Head of the creation of God, says these things:
