³ And say, Hear the Word of Jehovah, O kings of Judah, and people of Jerusalem. So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, Behold, I will bring evil on this place, which shall cause the ears of him who hears it to tingle.

¹¹ And Jehovah said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel at which both the ears of everyone who hears it shall tingle.

¹⁶ And the man said to Eli, I am he who came out of the army, and I fled today out of the army. And he said, How did the matter go, my son? ¹⁷ And the messenger answered and said, Israel has fled before the Philistines, and there has been a great slaughter among the people also. And also your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead, and the ark of God is taken. ¹⁸ And it happened when he spoke of the ark of God, he fell backward off the seat, by the side of the gate. And his neck broke, and he died, for he was an old man, and heavy. And he had judged Israel forty years.

¹² therefore, so says Jehovah, the God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing evil on Jerusalem and Judah, so that whoever hears of it, both his ears shall tingle. ¹³ And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the measuring line of the house of Ahab. And I will wipe Jerusalem as a dish is wiped, wiping and turning it upside down.

¹⁰ And now be wise, O kings; be instructed, O judges of the earth.

¹⁵ So the nations shall fear the name of Jehovah, and all the kings of the earth Your glory.

⁵ The Lord at Your right hand shall strike through kings in the day of His wrath.

¹⁹ From the time that it goes out it shall take you; for morning by morning it shall pass over, by day and by night; and it shall be only a terror to understand the message.

¹⁹ Hear, O earth; behold, I will bring evil on this people, the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not listened to My Words, nor to My Law, but have rejected it.

¹⁸ Say to the king and to the queen mother, Humble yourselves, sit down; for your greatness shall come down, even the crown of your glory.

²⁰ And say to them, Hear the Word of Jehovah, kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the people of Jerusalem who enter in by these gates!

¹⁸ And you shall be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them and the nations.

²⁹ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
