⁴ And the glory of Jehovah rose from the cherub, over the threshold of the house. And the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of Jehovah's glory.

³ God comes from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His glory covers the heavens, and His praise fills the earth. ⁴ And His brightness is as the light; rays from His hand are His, and there was a hiding of His strength.

⁷ And I will shake all the nations; and the desire of all nations shall come; and I will fill this house with glory, says Jehovah of Hosts. ⁸ The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says Jehovah of Hosts. ⁹ The glory of this latter house shall be greater than that of the former, says Jehovah of Hosts. And in this place I will give peace, says Jehovah of Hosts.

² But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise, and healing will be on His wings. And you shall go out and frisk like calves of the stall.

¹⁴ Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

¹⁹ Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifies the gift?

²⁴ Blind guides who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and of truth.

³⁰ Truly, then, God overlooking the times of ignorance, now He strictly commands all men everywhere to repent, ³¹ because He has appointed a day in which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He appointed, having given proof to all by raising Him from the dead.

¹⁸ in order to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, so that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.

²¹ Because, knowing God, they did not glorify Him as God, neither were thankful. But they became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. ²² Professing to be wise, they became fools ²³ and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things. ²⁴ Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves. ²⁵ For they changed the truth of God into a lie, and they worshiped and served the created thing more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. ²⁶ For this cause, God gave them up to dishonorable affections. For even their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature. ²⁷ And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another; males with males working out shamefulness, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was fitting for their error. ²⁸ And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right, ²⁹ being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; being full of envy, murder, quarrels, deceit, evil habits, becoming whisperers, ³⁰ backbiters, haters of God, insolent, proud, braggarts, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, ³¹ undiscerning, perfidious, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful; ³² who, knowing the righteous order of God, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but have pleasure in those practicing them.

¹⁸ But we all, with our face having been unveiled, having beheld the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Lord Spirit.

⁴ in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving ones, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ (who is the image of God) should not dawn on them. ⁵ For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. ⁶ For it is God who said, "Out of darkness Light shall shine;" who shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

¹⁷ This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should not walk from now on as other nations walk, in the vanity of their mind, ¹⁸ having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart. ¹⁹ For they, being past feeling, have given themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness. ²⁰ But you have not so learned Christ,

¹³ For He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son;

² has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds, ³ who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the word of His power, through Himself cleansing of our sins, He sat down on the right of the Majesty on high,

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for possession, so that you might speak of the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
