⁶ The sword of Jehovah is filled with blood; it is made fat with fatness, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams; for Jehovah has a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

⁵ For My sword bathed in the heavens. Behold, it shall come down on Edom, and on the people of My curse for judgment.

¹ Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah, this One adorned in His clothing, bending down in His great power? I who speak in righteousness, great to save.

³ I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with Me; for I will tread them in My anger and trample them in My fury; and their blood will be sprinkled on My garments, and I will stain all My clothing.

¹³ For I have sworn by Myself, says Jehovah, that Bozrah shall become a ruin, a reproach, a waste, and a curse. And all its cities shall be wastes forever.

²⁷ Kill all her bulls; let them go down to the slaughter. Woe to them! For their day has come, the time of their punishment.

⁴⁰ I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with he-goats.

⁴ Since then I will cut off the righteous and the wicked from you, therefore My sword shall be drawn from its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north, ⁵ so that all flesh may know that I Jehovah have drawn out My sword from its sheath. It shall not return any more.

¹⁰ It is sharpened in order to slaughter; it is polished so that there may be a flash to it. Or shall we rejoice? You are despising the rod of My son, as if it were every tree.

¹⁷ And you, son of man, So says the Lord Jehovah. Speak to the bird of every wing, and to every beast of the field: Gather yourselves and come; gather yourselves from all around to My sacrifice that I sacrifice for you, a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, so that you may eat flesh and drink blood. ¹⁸ You shall eat the flesh of the mighty and drink the blood of the rulers of the earth, of rams, lambs, goats, and bulls, all of them fatlings of Bashan. ¹⁹ And you shall eat fat until you are full, and drink blood until you are drunk, of My sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. ²⁰ And you shall be filled at My table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, all the men of war, says the Lord Jehovah.

⁷ Be silent before the face of the Lord Jehovah, for the day of Jehovah is at hand. For Jehovah has appointed a sacrifice; He has consecrated His called ones.

¹⁷ And I saw one angel standing in the sun. And he cried with a great voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid-heaven, Come and gather together to the supper of the great God, ¹⁸ so that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of commanders, and the flesh of strong ones, and the flesh of horses, and those sitting on them, and the flesh of all, both free and slave, both small and great.
