²⁴ And Joseph said to his brothers, I die. And God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land into the land which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

¹⁹ In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are, and to dust you shall return.

⁷ And Jehovah appeared to Abram and said, I will give this land to your seed. And he built an altar there to Jehovah who appeared to him.

¹⁵ For all the land which you see I will give to you, and to your seed forever.

¹⁷ Rise up and walk through the land, in the length of it and in the breadth of it, for I will give it to you.

⁷ And He said to him, I am Jehovah that brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give you this land to inherit it.

¹⁴ And also I will judge that nation whom they shall serve. And afterward they shall come out with great substance. ¹⁵ And you shall go to your fathers in peace. You shall be buried in a good old age. ¹⁶ But in the fourth generation they shall come here again, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

¹⁸ In the same day Jehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying, I have given this land to your seed, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates,

⁸ And I will give the land to you in which you are a stranger, and to your seed after you, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. And I will be their God.

¹ And Jehovah visited Sarah as He had said. And Jehovah did to Sarah as He had spoken.

³ Reside in this land, and I will be with you and bless you. For to you and to your seed I will give all these lands; and I will establish the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.

¹³ And behold! Jehovah stood above it, and said, I am Jehovah, the God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac! The land on which you lie I will give to you and to your seed.

¹² And the land which I gave to Abraham and Isaac, I will give to you, and to your seed after you I will give the land.

⁴ I will go down with you into Egypt, and I will also surely bring you up again. And Joseph shall put his hand on your eyes.

²¹ And Israel said to Joseph, Behold, I die. But God shall be with you, and bring you again into the land of your fathers.

⁵ My father made me swear, saying, Lo, I die. You shall bury me in my grave which I have dug for me in the land of Canaan. Now therefore, please, let me go up and bury my father, and I will come again.

¹⁶ Go, and gather the elders of Israel and say to them, Jehovah the God of your fathers has appeared to me, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, I have surely visited you and have seen what is done to you in Egypt. ¹⁷ And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.

³¹ And the people believed. And when they heard that Jehovah had visited the sons of Israel, and that He had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed and worshiped.

¹ And Jehovah said to Moses, Come, go up from here, you and the people whom you have brought up out of the land of Egypt, to the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, To your seed I will give it.

¹¹ Surely, none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and up, shall see the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, because they have not fully followed Me,

⁸ Behold, I have set before you the land; go in and possess the land which Jehovah has sworn to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them and to their seed after them.

¹⁰ And it shall be when Jehovah your God has brought you into the land which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you great and good cities which you did not build,

²³ For I know that You will bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.

⁵ also they are afraid of the high place, and terrors along the way, and the almond tree shall blossom, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail; because man goes to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets;

⁷ then the dust shall return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God who gave it.

¹² Therefore, even as through one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed on all men inasmuch as all sinned:

²⁷ And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment,
