⁴ You have not made the weak strong, nor have you healed the sick, nor have you bound up the broken. You have not brought again those driven away, nor have you sought that which was lost; but you have ruled them with force and with cruelty.

¹³ And the Egyptians made the sons of Israel serve with harshness. ¹⁴ And they made their lives bitter with hard work in mortar and in bricks, and in all kinds of work in the field; all their work in which they made them do was with harshness.

¹⁰ His watchmen are blind; they are all ignorant; they are all dumb dogs who cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.

²² Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then has the healing of the daughter of My people not come?

¹³ Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness and his upper rooms without justice; his neighbor serves without pay, and he does not give him for his work;

¹⁶ I will seek the lost, and bring again those driven away, and will bind up the broken, and will strengthen the sick. But I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

¹⁵ And Jehovah said to me, Take to yourself yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd. ¹⁶ For lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land who will not care for those going to ruin, nor will he seek the young, nor will heal that which is broken, nor will he feed that which stands. But he shall eat the flesh of the fat and tear off their hoofs.

³⁶ But seeing the crowds, He was moved with compassion on them, because they were tired and scattered like sheep having no shepherd.

⁶ But rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

¹² What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them strays, does he not leave the ninety and nine and go into the mountains and seek the straying one? ¹³ And if it happens that he finds it, truly I say to you, he rejoices more over it than over the ninety and nine which did not stray.

³⁵ And the vinedressers took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

⁴⁹ and shall begin to strike his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken,

⁴ What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after that which is lost until he finds it? ⁵ And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. ⁶ And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.

²⁴ Not that we have dominion over your faith, but we are helpers of your joy; for by faith you stand.

¹² Because of this, straighten up the hands which hang down and the enfeebled knees.

¹ Come now, rich ones, weep and howl for your hardships coming on. ² Your riches have rotted, and your clothes have become moth-eaten. ³ Your gold and silver have corroded, and their poison will be a witness against you, and will eat your flesh as fire. You heaped treasure in the last days. ⁴ Behold, the hire of the laborers reaping your fields cry out, being kept back by you. And the cries of those who have reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of hosts. ⁵ You have lived luxuriously on the earth, and lived wantonly. You have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. ⁶ You have condemned and murdered the just; he does not resist you.

² Feed the flock of God among you, taking the oversight, not by compulsion, but willingly; nor for base gain, but readily; ³ nor as lording it over those allotted to you by God, but becoming examples to the flock.

¹⁴ And it deceives those dwelling on the earth, because of the miracles which were given to it to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth that they should make an image to the beast who had the wound by a sword and lived. ¹⁵ And there was given to it to give a spirit to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might both speak, and might cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. ¹⁶ And it causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark on their right hand, or in their foreheads, ¹⁷ even that not any might buy or sell except those having the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of its name.

⁵ And on her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. ⁶ And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with a great marveling.
