²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it,

²⁴ Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife and they shall be one flesh.

⁶⁷ And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah's tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife. And he loved her. And Isaac was comforted after his mother's death.

³ but the poor one had nothing except one little ewe lamb which he had bought and nourished up. And it grew up together with him and with his sons. It ate of his own food and drank from his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was to him like a daughter.

¹⁸ Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth. ¹⁹ Like the loving deer and pleasant doe, let her breasts satisfy you at all times, and be ravished always with her love.

²⁸ even as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

¹⁹ And He took bread and gave thanks, and He broke it and gave it to them, saying, This is My body which is given for you, this do in remembrance of Me. ²⁰ In the same way He took the cup, after having dined, saying, This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is being poured out for you.

⁵¹ I am the Living Bread which came down from Heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he shall live forever. And truly the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

²⁸ Therefore take heed to yourselves, and to all the flock in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to feed the church of God which He has purchased with His own blood.

⁴ who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world according to the will of God and our Father,

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And that life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself on my behalf.

² And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.

²⁸ So men ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

³³ But also let everyone of you in particular so love his wife even as himself, and the wife that she defers to her husband.

⁶ who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

¹⁸ knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, silver or gold, from your vain manner of life handed down from your fathers, ¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot; ²⁰ indeed having been foreknown before the foundation of the world, but revealed in the last times for you, ²¹ those believing in God through Him, He who raised Him up from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.

⁷ Likewise, husbands, live together according to knowledge, giving honor to the wife as to the weaker vessel, the female, as truly being co-heirs together of the grace of life, not cutting off your prayers.

⁵ even from Jesus Christ the faithful Witness, the First-born from the dead and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

⁹ And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, for You were slain and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every kindred and tongue and people and nation.
