¹⁰ And the king of Israel said, Alas! that Jehovah has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab!

¹³ And Cain said to Jehovah, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

³³ While he still talked with them, behold, the messenger came down to him. And he said, Behold, this evil is from Jehovah. Why should I wait for Jehovah any longer?

³⁴ When He killed them, then they looked for Him; and they turned back and sought after God. ³⁵ And they remembered that God was their rock, and the Most High God was their redeemer. ³⁶ But they flattered Him with their mouths, and they lied to Him with their tongues.

³ The foolishness of man perverts his way, and his heart frets against Jehovah.

²¹ And they shall pass through it, hard-pressed and hungry; and it shall be, they shall be hungry; They shall rave and curse their king and their God, and look upward.

²⁰ Your sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the street like a wild antelope in a net, filled with the fury of Jehovah, the rebuke of your God.
