¹⁶ So as we now know no one according to flesh, but even if we have known Christ according to flesh, yet now we no longer know Him so.

⁹ who said to his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; and he has not acknowledged his brothers, nor knew his own son, for they have observed Your Word and kept Your covenant.

²⁹ Why do you kick at My sacrifice and My offering, which I have commanded in My house? Do you honor your sons above Me, to make yourselves fat with the best of all the offerings of Israel My people?

³⁷ He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

⁴⁸ And He answered and said to him who told Him, Who is My mother? And who are My brothers? ⁴⁹ And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, Behold, My mother and My brothers! ⁵⁰ For whoever shall do the will of My Father in Heaven, the same is My brother and sister and mother.

³¹ Then His brothers and His mother came. And standing outside, they sent to Him, calling Him. ³² And the crowd sat about Him, and they said to Him, Behold, Your mother and Your brothers are outside seeking for You. ³³ And He answered them, saying, Who is My mother, or My brothers? ³⁴ And He looked around on those who sat about Him, and said, Behold My mother and My brothers! ³⁵ For whoever does the will of God, the same is My brother and My sister and My mother.

⁴ Jesus said to her, Woman, what do I have to do with you? My hour has not yet come.

⁶³ It is the Spirit that makes alive, the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and are life.

¹⁴ You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

¹⁸ Since many glory according to the flesh, I also will boast.

⁵ to whom not even for an hour did we yield in subjection, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you. ⁶ But from those who seemed to be something (what kind they were then does not matter to me; God does not accept the face of man), for those seeming important conferred nothing to me.

⁶ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any strength, but faith working through love.

⁷ But whatever things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. ⁸ But no, rather, I also count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them to be dung, so that I may win Christ

¹¹ where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, slave or freeman, but Christ is all things in all.

²¹ I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that you guard these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality. ²² Do not lay hands quickly on anyone, neither be partaker of the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.

¹ My brothers, do not have the faith of our Lord Christ, the Lord of glory, with respecter of faces. ² For if there comes a gold-fingered man in fancy clothing into your assembly, and if there also comes in a poor man in shabby clothing, ³ and if you have respect to him who has the fancy clothing and say to him, You sit here in a good place, and say to the poor, You stand there, or sit here under my footstool; ⁴ Did you not make a difference among yourselves and became judges with evil thoughts?

¹⁷ But the wisdom that is from above is first truly pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
