¹³ Let us walk decently, as in the daylight; not in clamor and drunkenness, not in the practice of immorality, not in envy and strife. ¹⁴ But clothe yourselves with our LORD Jesus Christ, and take no heed for the lusts of the flesh.

²⁹ But this I do say, my brethren, the time is short; let those who have wives be as though they had none; ³⁰ And those who weep, as though they had not wept; and those who rejoice, as though they had not rejoiced; and those who buy, as though they did not possess anything; ³¹ And those who make use of this world should not abuse it, for the fashion of this world is passing away.
