It is therefore lawful to do good on the sabbath. 13 Then he said to the man, Stretch out your hand. And he stretched out his hand, and it was restored like the other. 14 And the Pharisees went out, and they took counsel concerning him, so as to do away with him.

And when he came and stood up, 9 Jesus said to them, I will ask you, What is lawful to do on the sabbath, that which is good or that which is bad? to save a life or to destroy it? 10 And he looked at all of them, and said to him, Stretch out your hand. And he stretched it out; and his hand was restored like the other. 11 But they were filled with bitterness, and discussed with each other what to do with Jesus.
