⁸ Whom you have not seen, but whom you yet love, and in whose faith you rejoice with exceeding joy that cannot be described;

³⁷ Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

³⁵ For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; ³⁶ I was naked, and you covered me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me. ³⁷ Then the righteous will say to him, Our Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you? or thirsty and gave you drink? ³⁸ And when did we see you a stranger, and took you in? Or that you were naked, and covered you? ³⁹ And when did we see you sick, or in the prison, and come to you? ⁴⁰ The king then will answer and say to them, Truly I tell you, Inasmuch as you have done it to one of these least brethren, you did it to me.

⁴² Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, you would love me, for I proceeded and came from God; I did not come of my own accord, but he sent me.

¹⁵ If you love me, then obey my commandments.

²¹ He who has my commandments with him and obeys them, he is the one who loves me; he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and reveal myself to him.

²⁴ But he who does not love me, does not keep my word; and this word which you hear, is not mine own, but the FatherÆs who sent me.

²² So you also are depressed; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no man will take away from you.

²⁹ Jesus said to him, Now you believe, because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen me, and have believed.

¹⁵ When they had broken their fast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these things? He said to him, Yes, my Lord; you know that I love you. Jesus said to him, Feed my male lambs. ¹⁶ He said to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me? He said to him, Yes, my Lord; you know that I love you. Jesus said to him, Feed my sheep. ¹⁷ He said to him again the third time, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me? It grieved Peter because he said to him the third time, Do you love me? So he said to him, My Lord, you understand well everything, you know that I love you. Jesus said to him, Feed my female lambs.

³⁴ And when he had brought them up into his house, he set food before them; and he and all the members of his household rejoiced, believing in God.

¹⁷ For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

¹³ Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace so that by faith you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

²² Whoever does not love our LORD Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. Maranatha, that is to say, our LORD has come.

²² And who has sealed us, and pledged his spirit in our hearts.

¹⁸ We do not rejoice in the things which are seen, but in the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

⁷ For we walk by faith, and not by sight.

¹⁴ For the love of Christ compels us to reason thus, that if one died for all, then were all dead: ¹⁵ And that he died for all, that those who live may not henceforth live for themselves, but for him who died and rose for them.

¹⁵ Thanks be to God for his incomparable gift.

⁴ How that he was caught up to paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

⁶ For in Christ Jesus, neither is circumcision anything nor uncircumcision; but faith which is accomplished by love.

²² But the fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith,

¹³ In whom, you also have heard the word of truth, which is the gospel for your salvation: in him you have believed, so you are sealed with the Holy Spirit that was promised, ¹⁴ Which is the pledge of our inheritance, for the salvation of those who are saved, and for the glory of his honour.

²⁴ Grace be with all them that love our LORD Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

²⁵ And this I surely know, that I shall be spared and remain for your joy and for the furtherance of your faith;

³ For we are the true people of circumcision, who worship God in Spirit, and glory in Jesus Christ, and yet do not rely on things of the flesh.

⁴ Rejoice in our LORD alway; and again I say, Rejoice.

¹ NOW faith is the substance of things hoped for, just as it was the substance of things which have come to pass; and it is the evidence of things not seen,

²⁷ By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; and he survived after he had seen God, who is invisible.

⁶ Wherein you will rejoice for ever, though at present you are sorrowful for a while, through diverse trials which have come upon you:

⁷ It is to you who believe, therefore, that this honour is given; but to those who are disobedient, he is a stumbling stone and a stone of trouble.

⁴ And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that will not fade away.

¹⁹ We love God because he first loved us. ²⁰ If a man say, I love God, and yet hates his brother, he is a liar: for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
