¹⁵ His legs are like pillars of marble founded on bases of fine gold; His appearance is like Lebanon, excellent as the cedars.

⁶ And the woman came and spoke to her husband, saying, A Man of God has come to me, and His appearance was like the appearance of the Angel of God, very terrifying. And I did not ask Him where He was from, and He did not tell me His name.

³³ And he spoke of trees, from the cedar tree in Lebanon, even to the hyssop that springs out of the wall. He spoke also of beasts and of birds, and of creeping things, and of fish.

¹² The righteous shall flourish as the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

¹⁴ My dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the secrecy of the steep place, let Me see your form. Let Me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your form is beautiful.

¹¹ Your lips, My spouse, drip like the honeycomb; honey and milk are under your tongue. And the scent of your garments is like the scent of Lebanon.

⁴ Your neck is like an ivory tower; your eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim. Your nose is like a tower of Lebanon, peering toward the face of Damascus.

⁷ They who live under his shadow shall return; they shall live like the grain, and blossom like the vine; their memorial shall be as the wine of Lebanon.

¹⁷ For how great is its goodness, and how great its beauty! Grain shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the virgins.

² And He was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His clothing became white as the light.

³ And his face was as lightning and his clothing white as snow.

¹⁶ And confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in flesh, was justified in Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

¹⁵ and His feet like burnished brass having been fired in a furnace; and His voice as a sound of many waters; ¹⁶ and having in His right hand seven stars; and a sharp, two-edged sword proceeding out of His mouth, and His face shining as the sun in its power.
