¹⁹ You will then say to me, Why does He yet find fault? For who has resisted His will?

²⁰ And you, you intended evil against me, but God meant it for good, in order to make it as it is this day, to keep a great many people alive.

⁶ and said, O Jehovah, the God of our fathers, are not You the God in Heaven? Yea, You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is power and might; and there is none able to withstand You.

¹² Behold, He takes away; who can turn Him back? Who will say to Him, What are You doing? ¹³ God will not withdraw His anger; the helpers of pride stoop under Him. ¹⁴ How much less shall I answer Him, and choose my words with Him! ¹⁵ Though I were righteous, I could not answer Him; I seek mercy for my judgment.

¹⁹ If I speak of strength, behold, He is mighty; and if of judgment, who can summon me?

¹³ But He is in one mind, and who can turn Him? Yea, His soul desires, and He does it . ¹⁴ For He fulfilled my lot, and many like these are with Him.

¹⁰ For the wraths of man thank You; You encircle Yourself with the wraths left over.

⁶ I will send him against an ungodly nation, and against the people of My wrath. I will command him to plunder, and to strip off spoil, and to trample them like the mud of the streets. ⁷ Yet he does not purpose this, nor does his heart think so. For it is in his heart to destroy, and to cut off not a few nations.

¹⁰ declaring the end from the beginning, and from the past those things which were not done, saying, My purpose shall rise; and, I will do all My desire; ¹¹ calling a bird of prey from the sunrise, the man of My counsel from a far off land. Yes, I have spoken; yes, I will cause it to come; I have formed; yes, I will do it.

³⁵ And all the inhabitants of the earth are counted as nothing. And He does according to His will among the army of Heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth. And no one is able to strike His hand or say to Him, What are You doing?

²¹ Truly the Son of man goes as it has been written concerning Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It were good for him if that man had never been born.

²³ this One given to you by the before-determined counsel and foreknowledge of God, you having taken by lawless hands, having crucified Him, you put Him to death.

²⁷ For truly both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the nations and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together against Your holy child Jesus, whom You anointed, ²⁸ to do whatever Your hand and Your counsel before-determined to be done.

⁵ But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who lays on wrath? I speak according to man. ⁶ Let it not be! Otherwise, how will God judge the world? ⁷ For if in my lie the truth of God abounded to His glory, why am I yet judged as a sinner? ⁸ And not (as we are wrongly accused, and as some report us to say), Let us do bad things so that good things may come, the judgment of whom is just.

¹⁹ You will say then, The branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.

¹² But if Christ is proclaimed, that He was raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is not a resurrection of the dead?

³⁵ But someone will say, How are the dead raised? And with what body do they come?

¹³ Let no one being tempted say, I am tempted from God. For God is not tempted by evils, and He tempts no one.
