⁵ Only be silent to God, O my soul, for my hope comes from Him.

²⁴ Jehovah is my portion, says my soul. On account of this I shall hope to Him. ²⁵ Jehovah is good to those waiting on Him, to the soul seeking Him. ²⁶ It is good that a man hopes for the salvation of Jehovah, even in silence.

⁷ But I will look to Jehovah; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.

³ For the vision is still for the appointed time, but it breathes to the end, and it does not lie. Though it delays, wait for it, because it will surely come; it will not tarry.

⁸ Therefore, wait for Me, declares Jehovah, for the day I rise up to the prey. For My judgment is to gather the nations, for Me to gather the kingdoms, to pour My fury out on them, all My hot anger. For all the earth shall be burned up with the fire of My jealousy.

⁶⁷ Therefore, Jesus said to the Twelve, Do you also wish to go? ⁶⁸ Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of everlasting life. ⁶⁹ And we have believed and have known that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

²⁰ according to my earnest expectation and hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but as always in all boldness even now Christ will be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death.
