¹³ And coming into the parts of Caesarea of Philip, Jesus questioned His disciples, saying, Whom do men say Me the Son of Man to be?

¹³ I was looking in the night visions. And behold! One like the Son of Man came with the clouds of the heavens. And He came to the Ancient of Days. And they brought Him near before Him.

²⁰ And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests, but the Son of man has nowhere He may lay His head.

⁶ But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins, then He said to the paralytic, Rising up, lift up your cot and go to your house.

⁸ For the Son of man is also Lord of the sabbath.

³² And whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, not in this age nor in the coming one .

⁴⁰ And even as "Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish three days and three nights," so shall the Son of man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights. Jon. 1:17

³⁷ And answering, He said to them, The one sowing the good seed is the Son of man.

⁴¹ The Son of man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all the offenses, and those who practice lawlessness.

²¹ And going out from there, Jesus withdrew to the parts of Tyre and Sidon.

³¹ But when the Son of man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

²⁷ And Jesus and His disciples went out to the villages of Caesarea of Philip. And in the way, He questioned His disciples, saying to them, Whom do men say Me to be? ²⁸ And they answered, John the Baptist, and others say Elijah; but others, one of the prophets. ²⁹ And He said to them, And you, whom do you say Me to be? And answering, Peter said to Him, You are the Christ.

³⁸ For whoever may be ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father, along with the holy angels.

⁴⁵ For even the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.

¹⁸ And it happened as He was praying alone, the disciples were with Him. And He questioned them, saying, Whom do the crowds say Me to be? ¹⁹ And answering, they said, John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; and others that some prophet of the ancients has risen again. ²⁰ And He said to them, But whom do you say Me to be? And answering, Peter said, The Christ of God.

⁵¹ And He says to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, from now on you will see Heaven opened, and "the angels of God ascending and descending" on the Son of man. Gen. 28:12

¹⁴ And even as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up,

²⁷ And He also gave authority to Him to execute judgment, for He is the Son of man.

³⁴ The crowd answered Him, We heard out of the Law that the Christ remains forever. And how do you say that the Son of man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of man?

⁵⁶ And he said, Behold, I see the heavens having been opened, and the Son of man standing at the right of God!

³⁸ Jesus the One from Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all those having been oppressed by the Devil, because God was with Him.

¹⁴ Since, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, in like manner He Himself also shared the same things, that through death He might cause to cease the one having the power of death, (that is, the Devil); ¹⁵ and might set these free, as many as by fear of death were subject to slavery through all the time to live. ¹⁶ For indeed He does not take hold of angels, "but He takes hold of" " the seed of Abraham." Isa. 41:8, 9 ¹⁷ For this reason He ought by all means to become like His brothers, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the things respecting God, in order to make propitiation for the sins of His people. ¹⁸ For in what He has suffered, being tried, He is able to help those having been tried.
