²³ And looking around, Jesus said to His disciples, How hardly those having riches will enter into the kingdom of God!

³ And He said, Truly I say to you, Unless you convert and become as the little children, not at all can you enter into the kingdom of Heaven.

²³ And Jesus said to His disciples, Truly I say to you that a rich man will with great difficulty enter into the kingdom of Heaven. ²⁴ And again I say to you, It is easier for a camel to pass through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. ²⁵ And His disciples were exceedingly astonished when they heard this, saying, Who then can be saved? ²⁶ But looking on them, Jesus said to them, With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

⁵ And having looked around on them with anger, being greatly grieved over the hardness of their heart, He said to the man, Stretch out your hand! And he stretched out, and his hand was restored sound as the other.

³² And He looked around to see the one who had done this.

¹⁵ Truly I say to you, Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a child may in no way enter into it.

²⁴ And seeing him having become very much grieved, Jesus said, How hardly those having riches shall enter into the kingdom of God!

⁵ Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, if one does not receive birth out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God.

²⁶ For you see your calling, brothers, that there are not many wise according to flesh, nor many powerful, not many wellborn.

⁵ Hear, my beloved brothers, did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to the ones loving Him?

⁴ Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whoever, then, purposes to be a friend of the world is shown to be an enemy of God.

¹¹ For so will be richly furnished to you the entrance into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
