²⁶ Only, your holy things which you have, and your vows, you shall take up and shall go to the place which Jehovah shall choose. ²⁷ And you shall offer your burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, on the altar of Jehovah your God; and the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out by the altar of Jehovah your God; and you shall eat the flesh.

¹⁰ And when they came to the regions of the Jordan in the land of Canaan, then the sons of Reuben, and the sons of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh built an altar there by the Jordan, an altar of grand appearance.

³⁴ And the sons of Reuben, and the sons of Gad proclaimed regarding the altar, that it was a witness between us that Jehovah is God.

²⁷ And Joshua said to all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness against us, for it has heard all the sayings of Jehovah which He has spoken with us. And it shall be against you for a witness, that you not lie against your God.
