¹ And Joshua was old, going on in days. And Jehovah said to him, You have become aged, you are far along in days; yet very much land remains to be possessed.

¹¹ And Abraham and Sarah were aged, going on in days. The custom as to women had ceased to be to Sarah.

³ Jehovah your God will cross over before you; He shall destroy these nations from before you, and you shall possess them. Joshua is the one who shall cross over before you, as Jehovah has spoken.

¹⁰ And now, behold, Jehovah has kept me alive, as He said, these forty five years since Jehovah spoke this word to Moses, when Israel went in the wilderness. And now, behold, today I am a son of eighty five years;

¹ And it happened many days after Jehovah had given rest to Israel from all their enemies all around, that Joshua was old, going on in days. ² And Joshua called for all Israel, for its elders, and for its heads, and for its judges, and for its officers, and said to them, I have become old, I have advanced in days;

²⁹ And it happened after these things, the servant of Jehovah Joshua the son of Nun died, being a son of a hundred and ten.

¹ And king David was old, going into days. And they covered him with garments, for he had no heat.

⁷ And no child was born to them, because Elizabeth was barren. And both were advanced in their days.
