¹ And before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He should move from this world to the Father, loving His own in the world, He loved them to the end.

³ Jehovah has appeared to me from far away, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love! On account of this, with loving kindness I have drawn you.

² You know that the Passover is coming after two days, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified. ³ Then the chief priests and the scribes and the elders of the people were assembled to the court of the high priest, the one named Caiaphas. ⁴ And they plotted together in order that they might seize Jesus by guile and kill Him . ⁵ But they said, Not during the feast, that there be no uproar among the people.

⁴⁵ Then He came to His disciples and said to them, Sleep on, and rest for what time remains. Behold, the hour draws near, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the completion of the age. Amen.

¹ And it was the Passover, and the Feast of Unleavened Bread after two days. And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how they might get hold of Him by guile, to kill Him . ² But they said, Not during the Feast, lest there will be a tumult of the people.

⁵¹ And it happened in the fulfilling of the days of His taking up, even He set His face to go to Jerusalem.

³² And He said to them, Going, say to that fox, Behold, today and tomorrow I cast out demons and I complete cures, and the third day I am perfected. ³³ But today and tomorrow and on the following day I must travel on. For it is not possible for a prophet to perish outside Jerusalem.

¹ And the Feast of Unleavened Bread, being called Passover, drew near. ² And the chief priests and the scribes sought how to destroy Him; for they feared the people.

⁵³ When I was with you day by day in the temple, you did not stretch out your hand on Me. But this is your hour and the authority of the darkness.

⁴ And the Passover was near, the feast of the Jews.

⁶ Then Jesus said to them, My time is not yet here, but your time is always ready.

³⁰ Then they sought to seize Him; yet no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

²⁰ Jesus spoke these words in the treasury, teaching in the temple; and no one seized Him, for His hour had not yet come.

⁹ Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble because he sees the light of the world. ¹⁰ But if anyone walks in the night, he stumbles because the light is not in him.

⁵⁵ And the Passover of the Jews was near. And many went up to Jerusalem out of the country before the Passover, that they might purify themselves.

²³ But Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come that the Son of man should be glorified.

³ Jesus knowing that the Father has given all things into His hands, and that He came out from God, and goes away to God,

³⁴ I give a new commandment to you, that you should love one another; according as I loved you, you should also love one another.

²⁸ You heard that I said to you, I am going away, and I am coming again to you. If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I said, I am going to the Father; for My Father is greater than I.

⁹ As the Father loved Me, I also loved you; continue in My love. ¹⁰ If you keep My commandments you will continue in My love, as I have kept My Father's commandments and continue in His love.

¹³ Greater love than this has no one, that anyone should lay down his soul for his friends. ¹⁴ You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

⁵ But now I am going to Him who sent Me. And not one of you asks Me, Where are you going? ⁶ But because I have said these things to you, grief has filled your heart. ⁷ But I tell you the truth, it is advantageous for you that I should go; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you. But if I go, I will send Him to you.

²⁸ I came out from the Father and have come into the world; I leave the world again and go to the Father.

¹ Jesus spoke these things and lifted up His eyes to Heaven, and said, Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may also glorify You,

⁵ And now Father, glorify Me with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the existence of the world.

⁹ I pray concerning them; I do not pray concerning the world, but for those whom You gave to Me, for they are Yours. ¹⁰ And all My things are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them. ¹¹ And no longer I am in the world, yet these are in the world; and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, those whom You gave to Me, that they may be one as We are .

¹³ And now I come to You, and I speak these things in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in them. ¹⁴ I have given them Your Word, and the world hated them because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world.

¹⁶ They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

²⁶ And I made known to them Your name, and will make it known, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.

⁴ Then knowing all the things coming upon Him, going forth, Jesus said to them, Whom do you seek?

³⁷ But in all these things we more than conquer through Him loving us.

⁸ who also will confirm you until the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up on its behalf, ²⁶ that He might sanctify it, cleansing it by the washing of the water in the Word,

⁶ but Christ as Son over His house, whose house we are, if truly we hold fast the boldness and rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

¹⁴ For we have become partakers of Christ, if truly we hold the beginning of the assurance firm to the end;

¹¹ But we desire each of you to show the same eagerness, to the full assurance of the hope to the end;

¹³ Because of this, having girded up the loins of your mind, being sober, perfectly hope on the grace being brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

¹⁹ We love Him because He first loved us.

⁵ even from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the First-born out of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him loving us and washing us from our sins by His blood,
