²⁴ And you shall know that your tent is in peace; and you shall visit your home and shall miss nothing.

⁶ You shall be blessed when you come in, and you shall be blessed when you go out.

³ And David and his men came into the city. And, behold! It was burned with fire! And their wives and their sons and their daughters had been taken captive.

⁶ if you were pure and upright, surely now He would rise for you, and make whole the abode of your righteousness.

⁶ The light shall be dark in his tent; and his lamp shall be put out above him;

¹⁵ What is not his shall dwell in his tent; brimstone is scattered on his home.

²¹ Surely these are the tents of the perverse, and this the place that has not known God.

⁷ Why do the wicked live? They grow old, and become mighty in power. ⁸ Their seed is established with them before their face, and their offspring before their eyes. ⁹ Their houses are in peace, without fear; nor is God's rod on them.

¹³ His soul shall abide in good, and his seed shall inherit the earth.

¹⁰ no evil shall happen to You, nor shall any plague come near Your tent.

⁴ They wandered in the wilderness, in a desert way; they found no city of dwelling;

⁴⁰ He pours scorn on nobles, and causes them to wander in a desert; there is no path.

⁷ Jehovah shall keep you from all evil; He shall keep your soul. ⁸ Jehovah shall keep your going out, and your coming in, from now on and till forever.

⁵ Then Jehovah will create a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night, over all the site of Mount Zion, and over her assemblies; for on all the glory will be a canopy. ⁶ And there shall be a booth for a shade from the heat, and for a refuge, and for a hiding place from storm and rain.
