⁸ Who is this King of glory? Jehovah strong and mighty! Jehovah mighty in battle! ⁹ Lift up your heads, O gates; even lift up, O everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. ¹⁰ Who is this King of glory? Jehovah of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah.

² For Jehovah Most High is awesome, a great king over all the earth.

² For the wrath of Jehovah is on all the nations, and fury on all their army; He has devoted them; He gave them to slaughter. ³ And their slain shall be thrown out; and the stench from their carcasses shall rise; and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. ⁴ And all the host of the heavens shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together like a scroll. Then all their host shall droop, as a leaf drooping from the vine, and as the drooping from a fig tree. ⁵ For My sword is drenched in the heavens. Behold, it shall come down on Edom, and on the people of My curse, for judgment. ⁶ A sword is to Jehovah; it is filled with blood; it is made fat with fatness, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams. For Jehovah has a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom. ⁷ And wild oxen shall come down with them, and bullocks with strong bulls; and their land is drenched with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. ⁸ For the day of vengeance is to Jehovah, the year of repayments for Zion's cause.

³⁰ Even youths are faint and fatigued, and young men surely shall stumble; ³¹ but the ones waiting for Jehovah shall renew power; they shall go up with wings as the eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not be faint!

¹⁸ As I live, says the king whose name is Jehovah of Hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel is by the sea, he shall come.

⁴ Moab is broken up; her little ones have caused a cry to be heard.

⁸ And a plunderer shall come on every city, and no city shall escape. Also the valley shall perish, and the plain shall be destroyed, as Jehovah has spoken. ⁹ Give wings to Moab, for it will fly away; and its cities shall be a desert, without an inhabitant in them. ¹⁰ Cursed is he who does the work of Jehovah deceitfully, and cursed is he who keeps back his sword from blood. ¹¹ Moab has been at ease from his youth, and he has settled on his lees and has not been emptied from vessel to vessel. He has not gone into captivity. So his taste remains in him, and his scent is not changed. ¹² So, behold, the days come, declares Jehovah, that I will send pourers to him, who shall pour him off, and shall empty his vessels, and break their jars in pieces. ¹³ And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of their confidence in Bethel. ¹⁴ How do you say, We are mighty and strong men for war? ¹⁵ Moab is ravaged, and her cities have come up. And his chosen young men have gone down to the slaughter, says the king whose name is Jehovah of Hosts. ¹⁶ The calamity of Moab is near to come, and his evil hurries fast. ¹⁷ All who are around him mourn for him. And all who know his name, say, How the strong staff is broken, the beautiful rod! ¹⁸ O dweller, daughter of Dibon, come down from glory and sit in thirst. For a ravager of Moab shall come on you; he has ruined your strongholds. ¹⁹ O dweller of Aroer, stand by the way and watch. Ask him who flees and her who escapes; say, What has happened? ²⁰ Moab is put to shame, for it is torn down. Wail and cry! Tell it in Arnon that Moab is ravaged. ²¹ And judgment has come to the plain country, on Holon, and on Jahazah, and on Mephaath, ²² and on Dibon, and on Nebo, and on Beth-diblathaim, ²³ and on Kiriath-aim, and on Beth-gamul, and on Beth-meon, ²⁴ and on Kerioth, and on Bozrah, and on all the cities of the land of Moab, far and near. ²⁵ The horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken, says Jehovah.

²⁷ Put the sword to all her bulls, let them go down to the slaughter. Woe to them! For their day has come, the time of their punishment.

⁴⁰ I shall bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with he goats.

⁵⁷ And I will make her rulers drunk, also her wise ones, her governors, and her rulers, and her mighty men; and they shall sleep a never-ending sleep, and not awaken, says the King whose name is Jehovah of Hosts.

³⁷ Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and honor the King of Heaven, for all His works are truth, and His ways are justice. And He is able to humble those who walk in pride.

⁹ And Jehovah shall be King over all the earth. In that day there shall be one Jehovah, and His name one.

¹⁴ But cursed be a deceiver and there is a male in his flock, yet he vows it, but he sacrifices a blemished one to the Lord. For I am a great King, says Jehovah of hosts, and My name is feared among the nations.

⁴ Behold, the wages of the workmen who have reaped your fields cry out, being kept back by you. And the cries of the ones who have reaped have entered "into the ears of the Lord of Hosts." Isa. 5:9

¹⁶ And He has on His garment and on His thigh a name having been written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
