¹⁶ And I will lead the blind by a way they knew not; I will lead them in paths they never knew; I will make darkness into light before them, and crooked places a level place. I do these things to them and do not forsake them;

⁴ Only, keep a distance between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. You shall not come near it, so that you may know the way in which you are to go. For you have not crossed over this way yesterday and the day before.

¹⁴ For Jehovah will not leave His people; nor will He forsake His inheritance.

¹⁵ What is crooked cannot be made straight; and that lacking cannot be numbered.

¹³ Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight which He has bent?

¹⁸ And in that day the deaf shall hear the words of a book; and the eyes of the blind shall see out of their gloom and out of darkness.

²⁴ Those who erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and those who murmured shall learn the teaching.

²¹ And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, this is the way, walk in it, when you go right, or when you go left.

³ And the eyes of those that see shall not be dim, and the ears of those who hear shall listen.

⁵ Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf opened.

⁸ And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called, The Way of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it. And it is for them, the wayfaring one; yea, fools shall not go astray.

⁴ Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the knoll shall be a level place, and the rough places a plain.

³ He pursues them; he passes on in peace; he does not go by the way with his feet.

² I will go before you and make hills level; I will tear apart the bronze doors, and cut the iron bars in two.

¹⁷ So says Jehovah, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, I am Jehovah your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go.

¹³ and all your sons will be taught of Jehovah; and the peace of your sons will be great.

¹ Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of Jehovah has risen on you! ² For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples. But Jehovah shall rise on you, and His glory shall be seen on you.

¹⁹ The sun shall not still be your light by day, or the brightness of the moon give you light; but Jehovah shall be for everlasting light to you, and your God for your beauty. ²⁰ Your sun shall not set any more; and your moon shall not withdraw; for Jehovah will become your everlasting light; and the days of your mourning shall end.

⁸ Behold! I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the corners of the earth. Among them the blind, and the lame, the pregnant one, and the travailing one together, a great company shall return here. ⁹ They shall come with weeping, and I will lead them with prayers. I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a right way; they will not stumble in it. For I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is My first-born.

³⁹ And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me all the days, for good to them and to their sons after them. ⁴⁰ And I will cut an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do good to them. But I will put My fear in their heart, that they shall not depart from Me. ⁴¹ And I will rejoice over them, to do good to them; and I will truly plant them in this land with all My heart and with all My soul.

²³ And they will comfort you when you see their way and their doings. And you will know that not in vain I have done all that I did in it, declares the Lord Jehovah.

⁶ Therefore, behold, I will hedge your way with thorns, and I will wall up her wall, that she shall not find her paths.

¹⁴ Therefore, behold, I will lure her and bring her to the wilderness, and speak to her heart.

⁷⁸ through the tender bowels of mercy of our God, in which the Dayspring from on high will visit us, ⁷⁹ to appear to those sitting in darkness and in shadow of death, to direct our feet into the way of peace. Isa. 9:2

²⁹ because whom He foreknew, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, for Him to be the First-born among many brothers. ³⁰ But whom He predestinated, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; but whom He justified, these He also glorified. ³¹ What then shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

⁸ for you then were darkness, but now light in the Lord; walk as children of light.

¹³ But we ought to thank God always concerning you, brothers, beloved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning to salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth, ¹⁴ to which He called you through our gospel, to obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁵ Set your way of life without money-loving, being satisfied with present things; for He has said, "Not at all will I leave you, not at all will I forsake you," never! Deut. 31:6

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, He according to His great mercy having regenerated us to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ⁴ to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled, and unfading, having been kept in Heaven for you ⁵ by the power of God, having been guarded through faith to a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time;
