²⁶ Lift up your eyes on high and look: Who has created these? Who brings out their host by number? By greatness of vigor, and might of power, He calls them all by names; not one is lacking.

¹ And the heavens and the earth were finished, and all their host. ² And on the seventh day God completed His work which He had made And He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.

¹⁹ and that you not lift up your eyes towards the heavens and shall see the sun, and the heavens, and you be drawn away and worship them, and serve them; which Jehovah your God has allotted to all the peoples under all the heavens.

²⁶ if I looked to the light when it shone, or the moon marching in splendor, ²⁷ and my heart was secretly enticed. or my mouth has kissed my hand; ²⁸ this also would be an iniquity for the judges; for I would have denied God above.

³ When I look upon Your heavens, the work of Your fingers: the moon and the stars which You have fixed; ⁴ what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man, that You visit him?

¹ To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens are recording the glory of God, and the expanse proclaim His handiwork.

¹¹ The heavens are Yours, and the earth is Yours; the world and its fullness, You founded them. ¹² You have created the north and the south; Tabor and Hermon rejoice in Your name. ¹³ You have a mighty arm; Your hand is strong, Your right hand is high.

²⁵ You have laid the foundation of the earth of old; and the heavens are the work of Your hands.

⁴ He appoints the number of the stars; He calls to them all by names. ⁵ Our Lord is great and of great might; there is no limit to His understanding.

³ Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all you stars of light. ⁴ Praise Him, O heavens of heavens; and O waters that are above the heavens. ⁵ Let them praise the name of Jehovah; for He commanded, and they were created. ⁶ And He established them forever and ever; He gave a decree that they not pass away.

¹⁶ Search and read from the Book of Jehovah; not one of these misses, each not lacking her mate; for He has commanded my mouth, and by His Spirit He has assembled them.

⁵ So says Jehovah God, creating the heavens and stretching them out; spreading out the earth and its offspring, giving breath to the people on it, and spirit to those walking in it.

²⁴ So says Jehovah, your Redeemer and your Former from the womb; I am Jehovah who makes all things; stretching out the heavens; I alone, spreading out the earth. Who was with Me,

⁷ forming light, and creating darkness; making peace, and creating evil.

¹³ My hand surely founded earth, and My right hand has stretched out the heavens; I called to them, they stood up together.

⁶ Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look to the earth beneath; for the heavens vanish like smoke, and the earth shall wear out like a garment; and its inhabitants shall die in the same way, but My salvation shall be forever, and My righteousness shall not be broken.

¹¹ So you shall say to them, The gods who have not made the heavens and the earth, they shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens. ¹² It is He who made the earth by His power, who established the world by His wisdom, and who stretched out the heavens by His understanding.

¹⁷ Ah, Lord Jehovah! You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and Your outstretched arm; not any thing is too difficult for You, ¹⁸ who acts with loving-kindness to thousands, and repays the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their sons after them. The great, the mighty God, Jehovah of Hosts, is His name. ¹⁹ He is great in counsel and mighty in work. For Your eyes are open on all the ways of the sons of men, to give to each man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

¹⁶ For all things were created in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, the visible and the invisible; whether thrones, or lordships, or rulers, or authorities, all things have been created through Him and for Him. ¹⁷ And He is before all things, and all things consist in Him.
