¹⁶ But do not be forgetful of doing good and sharing, for God is well pleased with such sacrifices.

³ Trust in Jehovah and do good; live in the land and feed on faithfulness.

¹⁹ Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole offering; then they shall offer bulls on Your altar.

⁷ Will Jehovah be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of torrents of oil? Shall I give my first-born for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? ⁸ O man, He has declared to you what is good. And what does Jehovah require of you, but to do justice, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

³⁵ For I hungered, and you gave Me food to eat; I thirsted, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you took Me in; ³⁶ naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. ³⁷ Then the righteous will answer, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry, and fed You; or thirsting, and gave You drink? ³⁸ And when did we see You a stranger, and took You in; or naked, and clothed You ? ³⁹ And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and came to You? ⁴⁰ And answering, the King will say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of these, the least of My brothers, you did it to Me.

³⁵ But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be much; and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind to the unthankful and evil ones. ³⁶ Therefore, be merciful, even as your Father also is merciful.

²² And hearing these things, Jesus said to him, Yet one thing is lacking to you: sell all, as much as you have, and give to the poor; and you will have treasure in Heaven. And come, follow Me.

³⁶ And in Joppa was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which translated is called Dorcas Gazelle . She was full of good works and of alms which she did.

³⁸ Jesus the One from Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all those having been oppressed by the Devil, because God was with Him.

¹² Because the ministry of this service is not only making up the things lacking of the saints, but also multiplying through many thanksgivings to God, ¹³ through the proof of this service, they glorifying God by your freely expressed submission to the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of the fellowship toward them and toward all;

⁶ But let the one being taught in the word share with the one teaching, in all good things.

¹⁰ So then, as we have time, let us work good toward all, and especially toward the household of the faith.

²⁸ The one stealing, let him steal no more, but rather let him labor, working what is good with the hands, that he may have something to give to the one that has need.

¹⁴ Yet you did well in sharing my troubles.

¹⁸ But I have all things and more than enough; I have been filled, receiving from Epaphroditus the things from you, an odor of sweet smell, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.

¹⁵ See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue the good, both towards one another and towards all.

¹³ And you, brothers, do not lose heart in well doing.

¹⁸ to do good, to be rich in good works, to be ready to share, generous,

⁶ so that the fellowship of your faith may operate in a full knowledge of every good thing in you for Jesus Christ.

¹⁰ For God is not unjust, to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed to His name, ministering to the saints, and now are ministering.

¹ Let brotherly love continue. ² Do not forget hospitality, for by this some unknowingly took in angels as guests.

¹¹ Beloved, do not imitate the bad, but the good. The one doing good is of God; but the one doing bad has not seen God.
