⁴⁶ And continuing steadfastly with one mind day by day in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food in gladness and simplicity of heart,

⁷ And you shall eat there before Jehovah your God, and shall rejoice in all that you put your hand to, you and your households, with which Jehovah your God has blessed you.

¹² And you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God, you and your sons, and your daughters, and your male slaves, and your female slaves, and the Levite within your gates because he has no portion or inheritance with you.

¹¹ And you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God, you and your son, and your daughter, and your male slave, and your slave-girl, and the Levite that is inside your gates, and the alien, and the fatherless, and the widow that are among you, in the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there.

¹⁰ Then he said to them, Go eat the fat, and drink of the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared. For this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be sorry, for the joy of Jehovah is your stronghold.

¹¹ Teach me Your way, O Jehovah; I will walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.

⁷ Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God now is pleased with your works.

²² The lamp of the body is the eye. Then if your eye is sound, all your body is light.

⁴¹ But give alms of the things which are within, and behold, all things are clean to you.

³⁰ And it happened as He reclined with them, taking the loaf, He blessed, and breaking He gave to them.

⁵³ and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

¹³ And when they went in, they went up to the upper room where they were waiting: both Peter and James, and John and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alpheus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas the brother of James. ¹⁴ These all were continuing steadfastly in prayer and in supplication with one mind, with the women, and with Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

⁴² And they were continuing steadfastly in the doctrine of the apostles, and in fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

¹ And Peter and John were going up on the same day into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth.

²¹ And hearing, they went into the temple about dawn and taught. But having come near, the high priest and those with him called together the sanhedrin and all the elderhood of the sons of Israel. And they sent to the jail to have them brought.

⁴² And every day they did not cease teaching and preaching the gospel of Jesus the Christ in the temple, and house to house.

³⁴ And bringing them up to the house, he set a table before them, and exulted whole-housely, believing God.

⁷ And on the first of the week, the disciples having been assembled to break bread, being about to depart on the morrow, Paul reasoned to them. And he continued his speech until midnight.

⁸ or the one exhorting, in the encouragement; the one sharing, in simplicity; the one taking the lead, in diligence; the one showing mercy, in cheerfulness.

³⁰ But if I partake by grace, why am I evil spoken of because of what I give thanks for ? ³¹ Then whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all things to the glory of God.

²⁰ Then you coming together into one place, it is not to eat the Lord's supper. ²¹ For each one takes his own supper first in the eating; and one is hungry, and another drunken. ²² For do you not have houses to eat and to drink? Or do you despise the church of God, and shame those who have not? What do I say to you? Shall I praise you for this? I do not praise.

¹² For our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we had our conduct in the world in simplicity and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.

³ But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the purity which is due to Christ.

⁵ Slaves, obey your lords according to flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ;

²² Slaves, obey the lords according to flesh in all respects, not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God.
