²⁷ But I have known your sitting down, and your going out, and your coming in, and your rage against Me.

⁶ You shall be blessed when you come in, and you shall be blessed when you go out.

¹⁹ You shall be cursed when you come in, and you shall be cursed when you go out.

⁸ Jehovah shall keep your going out, and your coming in, from now on and till forever.

¹ To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, You have searched me and known me . ² You know my sitting down, and my rising up; You understand my thought from afar off. ³ You sift my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. ⁴ For not a word is on my tongue, but, lo, O Jehovah, You know it all. ⁵ You have closed me in behind, and in front, and Your hand is laid on me. ⁶ Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is set on high; I am not able to reach it. ⁷ Where shall I go from Your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from Your face? ⁸ If I go up to Heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there! ⁹ If I take the wings of the morning, dwelling in the uttermost part of the sea, ¹⁰ even there Your hand shall lead me; and Your right hand shall seize me. ¹¹ If I say: Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light around me.

²⁸ But I know your sitting down, and your going out, and your coming in, and your raging against Me. ²⁹ Because of your raging against Me, and your arrogance has come up to My ears, even I will put My hook in your nose, and My bridle in your lips; and I will turn you back by the way you came in.

²³ Am I a God near by, says Jehovah, and not a God from afar? ²⁴ Or can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I do not see him, says Jehovah? Do I not fill the heavens and the earth, says Jehovah?
