⁴ And this is _⌊how the lampstand was made_⌋,* a hammered-work of gold; from its base up to its blossom,* it was hammered-work according to the pattern that Yahweh showed Moses; so he made the lampstand.

⁹ according to all that I show you—the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its equipment—and so you will do.

¹⁸ And you will make two cherubim of gold; you will make them of hammered work at the two ends of the atonement cover.

³¹ "And you will make a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand will be made of hammered work—its base and its branch,* its cups, its buds, and its blossoms will be from it. ³² And six branches will be going out from its sides, three branches of the lampstand from its one side and three branches of the lampstand from its second side. ³³ Three almond-flower cups will be on the one branch with a bud and a blossom, and three almond-flower cups will be on the one branch with a bud and a blossom—likewise for the six branches going out from the lampstand. ³⁴ And on the lampstand will be four almond-flower cups, with its buds and its blossoms. ³⁵ And a bud will be under the two branches that come from it, and a bud under the two branches from it, and a bud under the two branches from it, likewise for the six branches coming out from the lampstand. ³⁶ Their buds and their branches will be from it, all of it one piece of pure gold hammered work. ³⁷ And you will make its seven lamps, and its lamps will be set up, and it will give light _⌊in the space in front of it_⌋.* ³⁸ And its snuffers and its fire pans will be pure gold. ³⁹ It will be made from a talent of pure gold, with all these pieces of equipment. ⁴⁰ And see and make all according to their pattern, which you were shown in the mountain.

¹¹ Then David gave to Solomon his son the plan of the vestibule and of its houses, its treasuries, its upper rooms, its inner chambers, and of the house of the lid of the ark, ¹² and the plan of all _⌊that he had in mind_⌋* for the courtyards of the house of Yahweh and for all the surrounding storage rooms, the treasuries of the house of God, and the treasuries for sanctified objects, ¹³ and for the working groups of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of Yahweh, and for all the vessels for the service of the house of Yahweh, ¹⁴ and for the gold, according to the weight of the gold for all the vessels of the service, and the service of all the vessels of silver according to the weight of all the vessels _⌊for every kind of service_⌋.* ¹⁵ And the weight of the golden lampstands and the golden lamps, _⌊the weight of each lampstand and each lamp_⌋,* and the silver according to the weight of a lampstand and its lamp, according to the use of _⌊each lampstand_⌋,* ¹⁶ and the weight of gold for the tables of the arranged bread, _⌊each table_⌋,* and silver for the tables of silver, ¹⁷ and pure gold for the three-pronged meat forks, and the bowls and the pitchers, and for the golden bowls, by weight for _⌊each bowl_⌋,* and for the silver bowls, by weight for _⌊each bowl_⌋,* ¹⁸ and for the altar of incense made of refined gold, by weight, and gold for the plan for the chariot—the cherubim with outspread and covering wings over the ark of the covenant of Yahweh. ¹⁹ "All this I give you in writing; from the hand of Yahweh he instructed me about all the workings of this plan."

⁵ who serve a sketch and shadow of the heavenly things, just as Moses was warned when he* was about to complete the tabernacle, for he says, "See to it that you make everything according to the pattern which was shown to you on the mountain."*

²³ Therefore it was necessary for the sketches of the things in heaven to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves to be purified with better sacrifices than these.
