¹⁰ And the _⌊Israelites_⌋* camped at Gilgal, and they kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month, in the evening, on the plains of Jericho.

⁶ "_⌊You will keep it_⌋* until the fourteenth day of this month, and all the assembly of the community of Israel will slaughter it _⌊at twilight_⌋.*

¹ Yahweh spoke to Moses in the desert of Sinai, in the second year after they came out from the land of Egypt, in the first month, saying, ² "Let the _⌊Israelites_⌋* observe the Passover at its appointed time. ³ On the fourteenth day of this month _⌊at twilight_⌋* you will perform it at its appointed time according to all its decrees; and according to all its stipulations you will observe it." ⁴ So Moses spoke to the _⌊Israelites_⌋* to observe the Passover. ⁵ And they observed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month _⌊at twilight_⌋* in the desert of Sinai. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, thus the _⌊Israelites_⌋* did.

³ And you, son of man,* prepare for yourself* the baggage of an exile, and go into exile by day before their eyes. And you must go into* exile from your place to another place before their eyes; perhaps they will see that they are a house of rebellion.

⁶ Before their eyes, on your* shoulder, you must lift up the baggage in the dusk, and your face you must cover, so that you may not see the land, for I make you as a sign to the house of Israel." ⁷ And I did _⌊just as_⌋* I was commanded; my baggage, like the baggage of an exile, I brought out by day, and in the evening I dug through for myself* into* the wall with my hand in the dusk; I brought the baggage on my shoulder; I carried it before their eyes. ⁸ And the word of Yahweh _⌊came_⌋* to me in the morning, _⌊saying_⌋,* ⁹ "Son of man,* did not they, the house of Israel, the house of rebellion, say to you, 'What are you doing?' ¹⁰ Say to them, 'Thus says the Lord Yahweh: "This oracle is about the prince in Jerusalem and _⌊the entire_⌋* house of Israel _⌊who are among them_⌋." '* ¹¹ Say, 'I am your sign, and _⌊just as_⌋* I did, so will it be done to them in the exile; into* captivity they will go.' ¹² And the prince who is in the midst of them, on his shoulder he will carry the baggage in the dusk, and* he will go out; _⌊the wall will be dug through_⌋* to bring him through it; and he will cover his face so that he will* not see the land with his* eye. ¹³ And I will spread out my net on him, and he will be captured in my hunting snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans, but he will not see it, and there he will die. ¹⁴ And all who are around him, his help* and all of his troops I will scatter _⌊in every direction_⌋,* and I will draw* the sword behind them. ¹⁵ And they will know that I am Yahweh _⌊when I scatter them_⌋* among the nations and I scatter them in the countries. ¹⁶ But* I will spare from them _⌊a few men_⌋* from the sword, from the famine and from the plague, so that they may tell of all their abominations among the nations to which they will go, and they will know that I am Yahweh."
