¹² And Moses spoke before Yahweh, saying, "Look, the _⌊Israelites_⌋* do not listen to me, and how will Pharaoh listen to me, since I am _⌊a poor speaker_⌋?"*

¹³ But Moses said to God, "Look, if I go to the _⌊Israelites_⌋* and I say to them, 'The God of your ancestors* has sent me to you,' and they say to me, 'What is his name?' then what shall I say to them?"

¹⁰ And Moses said to Yahweh, "Please, Lord, I am not a man of words, _⌊neither recently nor in the past nor since your speaking_⌋* to your servant, because I am heavy of mouth and of tongue."

²⁹ And Moses and Aaron went, and they gathered all of the elders of the _⌊Israelites_⌋.* ³⁰ And Aaron spoke all the words that Yahweh had spoken to Moses, and he did the signs before the eyes of the people. ³¹ And the people believed when they heard that Yahweh had attended to the _⌊Israelites_⌋* and that he had seen their misery, and they knelt down and they worshiped.

¹⁹ And the foremen of the _⌊Israelites_⌋* saw they were in trouble _⌊with the saying_⌋,* "You will not reduce from your bricks _⌊for each day_⌋* on its day." ²⁰ And they met Moses and Aaron, who were waiting to meet them when they were going out from Pharaoh. ²¹ And they said to them, "May Yahweh look upon you and judge because you have caused our fragrance to stink in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of his servants so as to put a sword into their hand to kill us."

⁹ And Moses spoke thus to the _⌊Israelites_⌋,* but they did not listen to Moses, because of _⌊discouragement_⌋* and because of hard work.

³⁰ And Moses said before Yahweh, "Look, I am _⌊a poor speaker_⌋.* And how will Pharaoh listen to me?"

⁴¹ I myself* also* went against them in hostility, and I brought them into the land of their enemies—or if then their uncircumcised heart is humbled and then they pay for their guilt,

⁶ "And Yahweh your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring to love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your inner self* _⌊so that you may live_⌋.*

⁵ And I said, "Woe to me! For I am destroyed!* For I am a man _⌊of unclean lips_⌋,* and I am living among* a people _⌊of unclean lips_⌋,* for my eyes have seen the king, Yahweh of hosts!"

⁶ Then I said, "Ah, Lord Yahweh! Look, I do not know how to speak, for I am a youth."*

¹⁰ To whom shall I speak and admonish, that they may hear? Look, their ears are _⌊closed_⌋,* and they are not able to listen attentively. Look, the word of Yahweh is to them an object of scorn, they do not delight in it.

²⁶ Egypt, Judah, and Edom, and the _⌊Ammonites_⌋,* and Moab, and all those who are trimmed to the side, those who live in the desert,* for all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised of heart."

⁵¹ "You stiff-necked people and uncircumcised in hearts and in your* ears! You constantly resist the Holy Spirit! As your fathers did, so also do you!
