¹⁸ And when he finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, he gave to Moses the two tablets of the testimony, stone tablets, written with the finger of God.

¹⁹ And the magicians said to Pharaoh, "It is the finger of God." But the heart of Pharaoh was hard, and he did not listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken.

¹² And Yahweh said to Moses, "Come up to me on the mountain, and be there, and I will give you the tablets of stone and the law and the commandments that I have written to instruct them."

¹⁸ And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and he went up the mountain, and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

¹⁵ And Moses turned and went down from the mountain, and the two tablets of the testimony were in his hand, tablets written on their two sides; _⌊on the front and on the back_⌋* they were written. ¹⁶ And the tablets, they were the work of God; and the writing, it was the writing of God engraved on the tablets.

¹ And Yahweh said to Moses, "Cut for yourself two stone tablets like the first ones, and I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. ² And be ready for the morning, and go up in the morning to Mount Sinai and present yourself to me there on the top of the mountain. ³ And no one will go up with you, and neither let anyone be seen on all the mountain, nor let the sheep and goats and the cattle graze _⌊opposite_⌋* that mountain." ⁴ And Moses cut two stone tablets like the first ones, and he started early in the morning, and he went up to Mount Sinai, as Yahweh had commanded him, and he took in his hand the two stone tablets.

²⁸ And he was there with Yahweh forty days and forty nights. He ate no food and drank no water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten words. ²⁹ _⌊And_⌋* when Moses came down from Mount Sinai, the two tablets of the testimony were in the hand of Moses at his coming down from the mountain; and Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because of his speaking with him.

¹³ And he declared to you his covenant, _⌊the Ten Commandments_⌋,* which he charged you _⌊to observe_⌋,* and he wrote them on the two tablets of stone.

²² "These words Yahweh spoke to your whole assembly at the mountain from the midst of the fire and the very thick cloud with a loud voice, and _⌊he did not add anything_⌋,* and then he wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.

⁹ _⌊When I went up the mountain_⌋* to receive _⌊the stone tablets_⌋,* the tablets of the covenant that Yahweh _⌊made_⌋* with you, and remained on the mountain forty days* and forty nights,* I did not eat food and I did not drink water. ¹⁰ And Yahweh gave me the two tablets of stone written with the finger of God, and on them was writing according to all the words that Yahweh spoke with you at the mountain, from the midst of the fire on the day of the assembly. ¹¹ _⌊And then_⌋* at the end of forty days* and forty nights,* Yahweh gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant.

³³ "But this is the covenant that I will _⌊make_⌋* with the house of Israel after those days," _⌊declares_⌋* Yahweh: "I will put my law in their inward parts and on their hearts* I will write it, and I will be to them God, and they themselves will be to me people.

²⁸ But if I expel demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you!

³ revealing that you are a letter of Christ, delivered by us, inscribed not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on stone tablets but on tablets of human hearts.

⁷ But if the ministry of death in letters carved on stone came with glory, so that the sons of Israel were not able to look intently into the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, which was transitory, ⁸ how will the ministry of the Spirit not be even more with glory?
