2 H3947 Take [H8798] H4039 thee a roll H5612 of a book H3789 , and write [H8804] H1697 therein all the words H1696 that I have spoken [H8765] H3478 unto thee against Israel H3063 , and against Judah H1471 , and against all the nations H3117 , from the day H1696 I spake [H8765] H3117 unto thee, from the days H2977 of Josiah H3117 , even unto this day.

3 H1004 It may be that the house H3063 of Judah H8085 will hear [H8799] H7451 all the evil H2803 which I purpose [H8802] H6213 to do [H8800] H7725 unto them; that they may return [H8799] H376 every man H7451 from his evil H1870 way H5545 ; that I may forgive [H8804] H5771 their iniquity H2403 and their sin.

4 H3414 Then Jeremiah H7121 called [H8799] H1263 Baruch H1121 the son H5374 of Neriah H1263 : and Baruch H3789 wrote [H8799] H6310 from the mouth H3414 of Jeremiah H1697 all the words H3068 of the LORD H1696 , which he had spoken [H8765] H4039 unto him, upon a roll H5612 of a book.

5 H3414 And Jeremiah H6680 commanded [H8762] H1263 Baruch H559 , saying [H8800] H6113 , I am shut up [H8803] H3201 ; I cannot [H8799] H935 go [H8800] H1004 into the house H3068 of the LORD:

6 H935 Therefore go [H8804] H7121 thou, and read [H8804] H4039 in the roll H3789 , which thou hast written [H8804] H6310 from my mouth H1697 , the words H3068 of the LORD H241 in the ears H5971 of the people H3068 in the LORD'S H1004 house H6685 upon the fasting H3117 day H7121 : and also thou shalt read [H8799] H241 them in the ears H3063 of all Judah H935 that come out [H8802] H5892 of their cities.

Jeremiah 36:20-24

Jeremiah 36:27-32

29 H559 And thou shalt say [H8799] H3079 to Jehoiakim H4428 king H3063 of Judah H559 , Thus saith [H8804] H3068 the LORD H8313 ; Thou hast burned [H8804] H4039 this roll H559 , saying [H8800] H3789 , Why hast thou written [H8804] H559 therein, saying [H8800] H4428 , The king H894 of Babylon H935 shall certainly [H8800] H935 come [H8799] H7843 and destroy [H8689] H776 this land H7673 , and shall cause to cease [H8689] H120 from thence man H929 and beast?
