¹³ Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that often I purposed to come unto you, (but was prevented thus far,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

⁶ He shall cause them that come from Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.

³⁶ And he that reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit unto life eternal: that both he that sows and he that reaps may rejoice together.

²⁴ Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone: but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit.

¹⁶ You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

²⁷ And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

¹² Then all the multitude kept silence, and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring what miracles and wonders God had done among the Gentiles by them.

⁶ Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia, ⁷ After they were come to Mysia, they attempted to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit permitted them not.

²¹ After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.

¹⁹ And when he had greeted them, he declared particularly what things God had done among the Gentiles by his ministry.

²⁵ For I would not, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in.

¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not worked by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed, ¹⁹ Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. ²⁰ Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:

²² For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you. ²³ But now having no more place of work in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you; ²⁴ Whenever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way there by you, if first I am somewhat refreshed with your company. ²⁵ But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. ²⁶ For it has pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints who are at Jerusalem. ²⁷ It has pleased them greatly; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in material things. ²⁸ When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will come by you to Spain.

² If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of my apostleship are you in the Lord.

¹ Moreover, brethren, I want not that you should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

¹ Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

⁸ For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life:

¹⁵ And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that you might have a second benefit; ¹⁶ And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be sent on my way toward Judea.

¹⁴ Now thanks be unto God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the fragrance of his knowledge by us in every place.

¹³ But we will not boast of things beyond our measure, but according to the measure of the field which God has distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you. ¹⁴ For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ: ¹⁵ Not boasting of things beyond our measure, that is, of other men's labors; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be strengthened by you according to our field abundantly, ¹⁶ To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's field of things made ready to our hand.

¹⁷ Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

⁶ Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and brings forth fruit, as it does also in you, since the day you heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

⁸ For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith toward God is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak anything. ⁹ For they themselves show of us what manner of welcome we had unto you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; ¹⁰ And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivered us from the wrath to come.

¹³ For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when you received the word of God which you heard of us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually works also in you that believe. ¹⁴ For you, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for you also have suffered the same things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:

¹⁸ Therefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.

¹³ But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them who are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others who have no hope.

⁷ For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now restrains will do so, until he be taken out of the way.

¹⁷ However the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
